Amazon obliged to verify identity.
 

I'm operating 2 Amazon UK stealth accounts.
I use Account#1 to list all my items, listing all these items as quantity zero.
Its not a Pro account - I don't pay any monthly fees.
I use Account #2 to sell the items on Account #1.
This way I figure that I can't get banned on Account #1, because there's never any bad feedback.
If Account #2 gets banned, then I can open another account and not lose control of my products.

Anyway, now Amazon are now asking for verification of Account #1, saying that I need to open a "Selling on Amazon payment account" - and if I don't, I wont be able to sell on Amazon.

What happens if I can't verify Account#1?
Will they allow me to continue to have items listed with qty zero (ie no problem), or will they remove/block all my items, and/or block my account?

If you don't provide the info your account will be suspended.

as above and have they verified account 2 yet, if not it, then they will ask in the future. Also if you are listing identical products there is a good chance amazon will link the accounts through the stock, amazon are not stupid.

Amazon haven't noticed the link yet, and its worked for 2 years.
If the account is suspended, what happens to the products?
Do they stay on Amazon for people (ie me) to list against?

If you list the majority of items again, it will link you. Best to recreate products.
