Suggested starting product quantity amount?

Was wondering how much and how many of my products i should put up for sale on the new ghost.

Whats the quantity(per item) of what would be "safe" for a starting seller account?

I don't think there is a limit on number of products. Well, none that I have come across under the accounts I have opened.
With any new account I create, I list between 7k-10k. Quantities ranging between 10-99
This is why I prefer Amazon to eBay, there is no listing limits. But this is always under a pro account and not an individual. And a fully verified account also.

The only thing (I think) Amazon looks at is sales, not number of items sold.
Once you reach a certain sales limit then your account will go into review which can take some time depending on how quick your customers are in leaving feedback.

I am sure others will have different views, but I am saying from my experience and with the products I sell, low risk with average sale of less than $15.

If you are running a new Ghost account why not just put one qty for each item or variation. When it sells then just update the qty and add another. Then you don't worry about it. Two clicks, plus Amazon is more about the metrics they seem to be pretty straight forward. I sell more on eBay but Amazons metrics seem more clear to me with regards to my account standing. I will say often times they are harsher with regards to shipping time etc. But at-least I know where I stand.

While I agree with the other poster Amazon seems to care less about qty. If you spent the time and resources to make a new account why not just play it safe and get the account established. Then do what you need to do.
