Does Amazon link using UPC numbers?

Hi,

I was have a few thousand UPCs which have some sequential numbers, would that tip off Amazon if using them in a different Amazon account to create new listings?

buy new EAN's (barcodes) online.

That's what I do and can sell the same products across multiple accounts :)

Just cut it in the middle some where for new account

Be careful where you get UPC's. Amazon DOES check the codes to make sure they are valid, at the minimum. One friend bought cheap ones from somewhere and it turns out they were barcodes made for coupons, not products. Amazon caught it and warned my friend to redo the products with valid UPC's or they would all be deleted.

What do you mean? As in, leave a gap of non-used number between the account A (old account), and account B (new account)?

Just buy new ones, why take the risk. Sell you old ones on e-bay.
