24vc and Amazon - Back Up Account
 

I created a stealth account with 24vc services. My first account hasn't been banned however, I just thought I should go ahead and create a back up account since my main item has been blocked.

I Have the following set up with new account:
1. new ip (fresh)
2. new name/bank/address/email

What else should I look out for ? Can I create new listing and sell same item ?

You can sell the same product, just make sure to change as much details as possible from before. Don't leave a trail/hints that you're the same person

How about same mac address being tracked,I'm guessing this process is eliminated that i'm using 24vc ? I am using google chrome (Incognito) as a browser as well .

You won't have to worry about mac addresses being tracked.

You should be fine using regular google chrome (not incognito).

You should also have new phone number and vcc.

Oh and make sure you have use checking accounts rather than saving accounts personally using saving accounts is bad for the amazon stealth accounts.

Thanks for the heads up! I actually attached it to a savings account.


For our main account ( live & good standing) we used our personal checking until I went through getting everything incorporated and now use something different.


Would it be possible to use that checking (old personal checking account) for stealth ? I read that amazon doesn't track previously used bank accounts.

Don't use any old information, this will link you. BOA saving accounts seem to give problems. If your account is has stayed open 2 hours you are fine.

My original account was never suspended however, I am using this ghost account to re-post our blocked top item. I don't believe Amazon would block the new account until the old was suspended.

Yes ur right,but they will warn you and ask you to close 1 of the acc.

So the fact that I haven't received " the close one of your account " warnings mean that I am in the green ?

You will need to list more than the one blocked item from your other account as this could link you. Amazon software is very sophisticated, they may and possibly do track products that have been blocked on accounts to see if new accounts open that listing.Is this item unique to you?

I was original creator of the listing however, several sellers piggybacked on the item. If I create the listing again under the a new UPC, will I be ok ?

If several sellers are selling it you will ok with the old listing. However list several other items, if you don't have the items, just list anything similar and price them high so you will not sell any.

I haven't created a new account thus far, and have not received any type of notification from Amazon.

Would it matter if I create a new user account now to practice extra precaution ?

Tony, I think Barry Cruan mentioned this a while back for Uk accounts. But the accounts had not been used with amazon for over 6 years. Data protection laws in the UK.
