Amazon Banned 20 of my accounts (linked) when I add deposit bank info
 

Recently (for 4-5 months) I just don't have luck on Amazon stealth accounts. I've doing this almost 2 years and recently always got linked. I feel Amazon is more strict now. Here are my steps:
1, new address, new email, new Credit card, new personal info
2, VMware
3, VPN
4,add bank account (checking or saving) after first sale happens, most of time is more than 30 days after I open amazon accounts

I've lost more 20 accounts recently and my guess is :
1, when I add my deposit information, Amazon will review my contact info again. Maybe call my registered phone number which was cancelled already. When Amazon can't reach me, they banned me. But I don't know why it is linked with other accounts.
2, my listing has some similar 2 of 10 from the banned accounts and which cause the problem.

Any suggestion?

Yes, don't list similar items to the listings from your banned accounts, clearly you have been using items that were way to similar to your old items, and Amazon has picked up on that, looks like this has caused all those accounts to be linked and banned.

Thanks for all the feedback, here are answers:
1, i always add different bank accounts.expecially last account, i opened a new bank account, it is checking account and everything is new. So i dont think it is becasue of my bank accounts.
2,similar listing might be the reason get banned. But i was doing the same thing for the past 2 years, and never had problem till this year (2015). I feel somehow related to Amazon.com merging to Amazon.ca. BTW, i am in Canada and selling on Amazon.ca. Recently Amazon has a new service which add Amazon.com automately to my Amazon.ca.
3,VPN i using 24VPN
4, PHone number is from Evoice and it is forwarding number

is your bank good for stealth name? in UK few banks are not suitable at all.

Similar listings can be doing you in, maybe add some more variety? Also even bigger issue could be Evoice alot of these forwarding services are causing problems even on ebay, so especially be cautious with them on amazon. I would recommend getting a cheap cell phone instead of using evoice, because they reissue the same numbers all the time and their pool of numbers may be smaller than you think. So avoid them

Always use a real phone number if you can, you can get a tracfone for just 5 bucks!

And evoice has been ok for you to verify the seller account initially?

Evoice was ok for the set up. I normally set up amazon account and list 2-3 new items. After one month (30 days review), i will list more and add the deposit way. That's the time when i got linked and banned. 24 hours after add the deposit information.

- I don't remember Amazon doing 30 days review for just list 2-3 items. It only review when your items sold

- What bank did you used?
- Checking or Saving?
- Are these account for Amazon.com?
- 1 Important thing is when you add your bank where they ask for bank account holder, what name did you enter there? Stealth name or your real name?

I don't think it matters. I have many successful amazon accounts with BOA and PNC checking accounts and twice as many savings accounts than I do checking for 6 months to 2+ years.

I don't think it is related to Saving or Checking. I used both, different banks. Of course with my stealth name.

Change your VPN,,,I would would bet that Amazon may have "Zeroed" in on your VPNs IP Range,,,,That combined with a few other Similarities found throughout all of your other accounts,,(Products, City/State/Zip Code, telephone exchanges all belonging to evoice, ect, ect)

Keep in mind that evoice phone number can be SOOOO recycled too. @seafish, are you always trying to list as new seller with lowest price in a hot category....?

At least TWO different forum members reported account closures immediately following adding a BoA savings account.

Unlikely that both were lying. Inadvisable for members to do this.

Kind of. But the point is everything is fine when i set it up and even sometimes i sold a few items in the first 30 days. But as soon as i add the bank accounts (saving or checking) , doesn't matter which bank, TD, RBC, BOM, my accounts got banned.

I have 3 BOA saving accounts with amazon. 2 months, 1 year, and 2+ years. 2 saving accounts with PNC. I think the other members might have been banned for one of the many other verified ways of being banned.

Interesting theory. I think the subject warrants more research.

Does anyone know why Amazon sometimes waits until a bank account is added before banning someone?

I am stuck at the getting a ssn or ein part.

I have already gotten 3 ein in the past.

Is there a reason why you can't use GV numbers?

I have a bunch of GV numbers that are still active that I used on ebay a few years ago, can those be used with Amazon?

I'm somewhat, although not completely, sure that Amazon isn't as strict about phone #s as eBay is. Which is strange, because this is pretty much the only thing they allow you leeway on, compared to eBay.

Someone else speak up if GV isn't good for Amazon. I'm not 100% sure.
