I had my legit account suspended in March due to it being an 'Individual' account. They asked for I.D. after I hit a sales threshold (which I provided, passport + utility) and then they told me I cannot continue trading as an 'Individual' and there was no way to change account types at the moment - "Engineers are working on a fix". Started looking into stealth accounts. PLC, 4G internet dongle, PO Box (£168 / 6 months!) and basically the whole shebang.

However, if the same situation comes up whereby a passport verification is requested, there really is no way around this is there? They already have my passport details on the original legit account which they can then link, even though the new account is a registered 'Business' account using a PLC?

How do you UK stealth Amazon accounters get around the sales threshold in this respect?

The account type can be changed, trust me. Write to seller performance and seller verification.

Thanks for the reply. I have messaged them a few times via the usual support channels but they just repeat the same thing. Could it be a UK thing only? I also messaged someone on the amazon forums who had the same thing happen to them back in Feb, they were still waiting too.

It is a UK "thing" but I have had the details changed. Its takes a while but it can be done.

The key to this is explained by TTM..... you have to get in touch with the correct department of amazon UK. They do exist but you need to push for a result.
