Can a Chinese Amazon account sell to the US?
 

I'm partnering up on some new products to sell on Amazon with someone in China, who says that a seller account created in China can be used to sell products in the US, including on FBA.

If this is true, what is to deter Americans from setting up an account in China and throwing stuff on FBA, while avoiding taxes?

Cos as a US Citizen you still have to pay taxes on your earnings and I guess your bank account will be in the US.

Im not even Chinese and I have China amazon account going to Chinese bank account would be the best route if you can pull it off

Very good, but I am not a tax expert, but if you bring those funds into the US they will be classed as earning's. Does not matter where you earn the money there is tax payable.
The only way to avoid taxes is offshore companies and even then you have to pay tax on the salary you take when it comes into the US, however your profits remain offshore.

Micky the best way to be creative is bring item into the US and sell them to flee market people or by gang of legit cell phones sell them on craigslist .

China amazon account do you mean .com account created in China (with chinese seller identity) ?

As for the chinese bank account, I don't think amazon allow China banks yet, the only one available is probably Hong Kong. I am looking at that option.

Can you shared your views and tips on this China bank account stuff?

i already tried to set up a european Amazon account for a chinese resident.. its not a problem but u need to have a bank account in the USA, Europe or Hong Kong..but its easy to set up a HK bank account...

Keep in mind that if you do this, the IRS will consider it TAX EVASION and will go after you. Only the 1% is allowed to get that creative. The little people MUST pay taxes or else!
