Delete listing on suspended account?
 

I discovered something interesting today. Once a seller account is suspended, you still have the ability to delete inventory from the banned account...

The first reason this is useful is that it will kill the Amazon page, forcing google to remove it from their index and index a "new" page with similar content (the new page you create with the new account)

I am curious if deleting the inventory from the banned account will help prevent linkage to the new account. I know Amazon is a Goliath, but are they really "copying" the data associated with the seller account once it is banned? Eventually you have to purge data for housekeeping purposes...

I have my approached on how to do this. The first is basic, Google does not like duplicate content. If you have a listing that is indexed by Google and ranks #1 for the search terms, it is highly unlikely that Google would give a similar Amazon page, with similar keywords and content a similar placement. If you delete the existing page, most likely google will index your "new" page that has the similar content. It is not guaranteed to work, but I have had success with this approach.

Thank you, but I really don't know how to get my 1 list index with Google :) been read here and there but totally getting lost :)

There really is no "rule" on how to do it, but you can help google index the page. Google LOVES Amazon. Their content is forever chaning and is rich in content. If you are going to create a listing on Amazon, google the keyworks or titles that you would use. If you do not see an Amazon page as #1 or #2, most likely Google is going to eventually index it and give preference to Amazon over www.whateverthepagenameis.com
