Selling Privileges Removed- New Acct- 24VC
 

Amazon closed new stealth account on the grounds that "We took this action because your seller account failed our seller account review process".

The account was not linked to current active account.


I had a 20:2 ratio. I did FBA one of the stealth items (Authentic Apple)


What could of happened ??

I think they are shooting everyone down.
Did you use a vanilla card ?

I was active for about 10 days. I used an american express bluebird ( had stealth address added to it )

I have never been able to keep a stealth Amazon going for any length of time using a prepaid card with a bank account attached, although I never tried Bluebird. The maximum length of time it stayed open was maybe 3 weeks.

I doubt it was the VPN. It COULD have been, but I just don't see it being an issue, especially with fresh IP's.

It could be what you were selling. It is VERY difficult to sell Apple ANYTHING on Amazon.

Amazon will never tell you EXACTLY why the account was closed.

I doubt it was the VPN partly because 1, it was fresh and secondly, they NEVER connected it my original amazon account.

I believe it was the type of product, and the cc, though I am not sure because I have been selling apple on our original account for several months and no problem other than the one ASIN ban ( counterfeit claim)


I take it you have several stealth accounts, what are your suggestions on selecting a cc ?

I DO have several. At the moment, there is some confusion as to which ones work. I would say use a Vanilla Visa that comes in the purple package with the $25 denomination. Those seem to be working, although I cannot guarantee it.

Your other option is to buy a VCC.

I thought vanilla visa is prepaid card ?

You mentioned that prepaid cards attached to accounts won't last much longer than 3 weeks .

Vanilla DOES have prepaid cards, but they also have gift cards.

The prepaid ones come with a bank account attached that allows you to accept deposits and requires that you give them your SSN.

The gift cards do NOT require an SSN and they don't come with the bank account attached.

Which ones do you use for your accounts with most success ?

I've used the purple $25 gift cards - the cards themselves are not purple, they come in a purple package. Also, someone recently posted that the gift cards that allow you to choose how much is on the card work too.

As for VCC's, just message the seller and ask if they currently have VCC's available that work on Amazon.

Even with the vanilla cards (gift card/prepaid card) we will only have a approx. amazon stealth life of 3weeks ?

Created properly and run properly, stealth accounts should last for a long time. I have some that are more than 5 years old.

The current Amazon issue is, some of the gift cards and VCC's that worked previously no longer work. We have not totally worked through that issue yet.

Well, I wouldn't list anything high-risk OR send anything in to FBA. I would list some books and ship immediately with tracking and also be very polite to my customers. I wouldn't care if a lost a buck or two on each book, since the immediate goal is not profit, but to build trust. After that, I would SLOWLY start adding the items that I actually WANT to sell.

Why do you suggest not sending anything to FBA ? This is exactly what I did with the previous stealth account because I thought this would seem less suspicious (amazon could check product anytime they needed). I only sell legitimate items .

Only because if the account gets closed due to technicalities, like the one you mentioned, you won't have to pay to get your inventory back. I guess this is easier when you have ten accounts running and you are not worried about making money on the new account immediately. It has nothing to do with the authenticity of the items. I was not trying to imply that you were selling counterfeits.

I also saw that amazon stealth suggested using variations of your real name. I use variation or slight misspelling of first name, and use the same exact last name. Do you think this will be a problem ?

Not if everything else on the account is different. But I DO disagree with the stealth guide on this particular issue. While it CAN work just fine, I try to avoid it.
