Listing Removed - Counterfeit / Authenticity
 

One of my FBA listings got removed on Amazon recently, due to an authenticity issue. The product is private labeled by me (the brand is not trademarked/used by anyone else) , and I don't think falls within a risky category (phone case). I also own the domain name for this brand. Additionally, it appeared to have had very little complaints relative to sales.

I intend to appeal this decision, and would appreciate any tips on this matter.

Also, amazon now has an email for providing more information about specific listings (seller-performance-asin@amazon.com), would it be a good idea to contact them prior to submitting my appeal?

when you say "very little complaints"....so you have HAD complaints?

Yes submit appeal with all your documents and I would suggest calling also to talk about this issue. Truthfully they do not care if you branded the item so when emailing you might just receive the stock "Go kick rocks" message. You might get a little more leeway if you talk to a high level customer service rep that can manually reinstate your account. That F'in sucks. I am selling the same way you are, so I hope amazon doesn't arbitrarily try to F me.

Thanks for the help. We appealed the removal, and amazon reinstated our product!

very little complaint doesn't mean anything. 1 complaint is too many for amazon.

If you own the rights contact amazon, their bots probably got it removed
