Amz .UK Seller Verification: Will opening a selling on Amazon payment acct link me?
 

Hello Peeps,

I was suspended from Amz FR 2 years ago but as they dont share info with .UK, Ive been selling on .UK with my real details without issue.

.UK are now asking for docs and also require me to open a selling on Amazon payment acct.

Will verifying my details and creating the new selling on Amazon payment acct cause a link to my previously suspended .FR account ?

Amazon FR shares details with UK, DE, ES and IT.

What was the reason for suspension?

Usually, if it is order defect rate, then that is measured by each country and you should not be linked. I have many accounts where I am suspended in IT and ES (for Order Defects) but others are selling fine.

My acct is not an EU acct, it's an old .UK acct whch does not have facilities to sell on FR DE IT or SP.

The old .UK accts dont share info with .EU accts as I would have been linked years ago.

I wanted to know if going thru the verification on the .UK acct and creating the new selling on Amazon payment acct will link me ...

If you information on your .FR account is the same as your .UK you will be linked. Is any information different.

The info is the same but I havent been linked for 2 years because the old .UK accts dont share info with the .EU accts.

They are asking me to create a new Amazon payment acct and not an .EU selling acct.
Are you saying that opening a payment acct will cause a link?

As you were suspended for ODR, then you'll be ok.

ODR is measure country by country and one suspension will not lead to the other account suspension.
BUT, if you try open another account, your new account will get suspended for being linked to an old suspended account and this could cause your UK account to be suspended because it is linked to the new account. So it may be that after you open the payment account, it may trigger something too. Not 100% sure on this one as your account is old.
Best bet, open another account or 2 and go stealth.
