Help ! amazon uk ask me to update my acount
 

hi
After providing all of my documents to amazon UK, they didn't say yes or no , just say i have to update my account from individual to business or solo trader, and then they will ask more documents.
anybody has experienced this before ? should i update or just give up this account ?
any advice will be highly appriciated.

Hopefully someone from the UK will chime in. I know that in the UK there are certain requirements to be a business seller.

Why give up. Just update the setting as requested. The only other document they may ask for if you register as sole trader will be your UTR.

where do we get UTR for steath account ? even they can not check the details ,we still have one UTR for each person.
how about use a company which registered in somewhere else to register as business account ?

UTR cannot be checked, provide them what they need.

DO NOT USE A COMPANY REGISTERED TO SOMEONE ELSE

Regardless of providing any UTR, you are still to make sure taxes are paid and all funds are declared.

i am wondering if UTR is completely uncheckable ? even they can not check 'match ' or 'not match ' ?

What part of Callidus' post did you not follow?

As he clearly has said. they CANNOT check the validity of the UTR. That is the reason why they ask for a copy of the UTR notification from HMRC.

You can get a UTR number from HMCE. You can vary this number for a ghost account.

I've just received the email to verify also.

When i go to verify all I'm being asked is to confirm if I'm individual, business or sale trader. And to also to input a UTR number.

And also to confirm which bank to use for deposit method (i have 2 banks on there)

The other 2 bits where it say Primary Contact Person Information and Upload required documents currently says Not currently required, will these be required after i enter the other info requested?

Hi ,
I got into a similar process with them 6 months ago, looks like they wont leave you.
once you submit to them documents they will just ask for more, when those submitted they will ask for more.
I personally suggest you to open a new account if you have the option to do that.
You will lose a lot of time on this process , and there is no guarantee to get account back even if documents are provided.
