I am using Safari browser with Mac. I recently used ipleak.net and it disclosed about 8 plugins that were running on Safari that could possibly lead to a link and amazon closing my account.
I have been running stealth successfully for about three weeks and have not had any problems thus far however, during the three weeks time I have changed a few things that were not implemented at the start of my Amazon account.
1.Changed resolution
2. Changed computer time (VPS and computer were showing separate times)
3. Deleted all plugins to the bare minimum (safari)
4. Installed random extensions ( done at beginning of stealth)
Will changing these things put my account at jeopardy, or further improve my stealth ?
*Only Plugin installed is WebKit built-in PDF ( I believe this comes preinstalled on safari, not sure ) |

But if you can, get a PC. It is always to run stealth with a PC than MAC. At least you have more support from forum's members |

Thanks Tony, but you didn't answer any of the questions I asked. Does implementing the tactics mention in my original post improve stealth, or does Amazon take a "snapshot" of browser settings when you first register ? |

halookick | 07-10-2015 04:33 PM | Re: I Deleted ALL Plugins Yes, 24vc. What are your suggestions ? |
TonyAlmeida | 07-10-2015 04:37 PM | Re: I Deleted ALL Plugins I ever using VPN before. Sorry that I can't help. Just wait for others. |
yankee | 07-10-2015 09:03 PM | Re: I Deleted ALL Plugins Pretty much change your location, new address, phone, etc...create a new user account or VMware and use a clean VPN.
Everything else you are doing seems to just make your life more challenging. |
Re: I Deleted ALL Plugins Yeah theirs no need to get super technical with it, can get yourself over worried at times so much that you spend a ton of time doing unnecessary things.
As Yankee mentioned just make a new user account for each account, or use a Windows simulator and get VMware. And if your so worried about plugins and stuff just leave your browsers with everything as default |

same case for chrome and all other browsers.... except safari |

You're telling me Google and Mozilla have a huge security/privacy flaw in their browsers? This seems odd to me. |

WEBrtc is bad bad bad bad bad bad |

WEBrtc is bad bad bad bad bad bad | So the bottom line is that, if you're using a VPN, Firefox/Chrome won't work for stealth?
123, as you are a VPN seller, can you clear this up? |
Taking The Micky | 07-12-2015 09:27 PM | Re: I Deleted ALL Plugins I use VPN and not had any problems. I would imagine just the VPN IP is seen by amazon even if the above is true. |

Can use any browser with VPN and have no problems, I prefer chrome |

Taking The Micky | 07-13-2015 11:15 AM | Re: I Deleted ALL Plugins Perhaps if amazon use this technology in the future then we should worry. For now I don't believe they will as the cost to verify every IP address twice will use a tremendous amount of processing time and programming, for what, catch a few thousand stealth sellers and buyers. Not cost effective in in opinion. Companies like NetFlix it would be more advantageous for them. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 08:56 PM. | |
