Can I just use my regular "new" CC?
 

Just out of curosity if I have a new CC linked to a new address will Amazon accept this card?

Vanilla Visa's? I didn't think it would matter if it was new info with my banned name. Was not sure though

yeah go for it, should work without issue most regular amazon users dont use gift cards, thats a stealth thing

You can use a real credit card or debit card in your own name as long as its never been used on any suspended accounts, for real or stealth purposes. Amazon only verifies the digits and zip code, nothing else. It's quite easy to use a real credit card for "stealth".

Same reason why people are advised not to call eBay----old forum dogma of the "best" way to do things, ignoring that is time passes, things change.

When there were many alternatives (VCCs), it didn't make sense to use a real card. If only real cards were used.....you'd be severely limited in the amount of accounts you could make.

Now there is no choice, since VCCs no longer work.

OK, GOA, I am not talking about e-bay or calling anybody. I was asking RSOT why not use a real CC, today as there are no alternatives. So you use a real card or don't open an account. Those are the choices. And if the card is a debit card its attached anyway to the bank account.

Yes I know this, I was asking RSOT what else can anybody do other than use a real card. But disagree with what you say being limited in the amount accounts you could have. Each new amazon account you need a new bank account, so you open a checking account and get a debit card. BOA will let you open and close as many accounts as you wish.

And I gave you an answer. The reason why is that at one time, this was considered a superior method. Now, things have changed, and the old method no longer works.

I'm not trying to argue about calling eBay, I was simply using that as an example. Dogma best serves religions, not methods.

Yes I know, things have moved on, but I was asking RSOT why is he still giving advice that can't be used? The only method at this time is a regular credit or debit card.

Correction there are still VCCs that work there just not being shared publicly like before as people don't want a repeat of them getting blocked again

Real debit cards are being blocked, as reported on Amazons own forums.

The VCC's that work will be short-lived. Amazon is moving to block ALL pre-paid cards. It's only a matter of time. That said, create and hoard accounts while you still can.

Yeah its going to be very interesting to see what happens, that may very well be true but the future in unpredictable. Just wanted to clear the notion that all VCCs are no longer working for amazon, there are some still working.

That's certainly true 123, I even finally got my Eentropay account up and running after not being able to get anywhere with it for such a long time, it is now working great!

Im using both real cc , debit and prepaid cards all are still working in the UK. Some travel cards that i try do not work. But to say generally that all such cards do not work are quite an overgeneralisation to be honest.

You will have to do a study or at least a poll to conclude or perhaps giving such false information.

Sorry, I was meant to say the vast majority of gift cards and VCC no longer work as described in many posts on this forum. The easy solution is just a real debit card. Stealth is possibly the wrong word for opening further amazon accounts as bank accounts can easily be tracked to the account holder if needed by law enforcement. So using a real debit/credit card
makes no difference in this respect. The idea of 'stealth' is to fool amazon into believing you are someone different and the real credit/debit card will not identify you as the same person.

Should I even go through the trouble of getting a bank debit card under my LLC if I already have a debit card under my real name that has never been used with Amazon? This bank account is tied to my stealth address.

No. You can put the name as "Joe Blow" and as long as the house # and zip match, it will verify without issue.

Not from the research ive done because I wondered the same thing! Amazon and alot of CC requesting sites usually just go by the 16 digit card number, EXP date, CCV code (usually 3-4 digits on the back) and your zip code. They wont be able to see your name and/or address thru a credit card :clap:

hence any name but key the numbers of real cc. same with bank where the bank will accepted mismatched name but use correct numbers
