What can i do if Amazon refuses to transfer my funds?
 

I delivered all items and Amazon has closed my account. Im not sure if there were complaints or not. There might have been that i didnt know about, but can i get it reinstated or press charges for theft?

Cant login at all ever since the "transfer" was supposed to take place two weeks ago

How did you ship your orders? Is there an tracking numbers you can provide them?

yeah all the orders tracking were bought from amazon

Is the reason true though, did you confirm orders for stock you did not have? I am surprised amazon would use this reason if they did not have a reason to believe you did this. Did you buy shipping and then not despatch the orders in a timely manner as if you are buying amazon shipping and not despatching they will find out pretty quick.
How old is the account.
So you have tracking for every shipment you made with amazon, do you have POD for all shipments and orders.
If so put it a nice polite e mail and explain everything.

Half of the items were delivered, not all of them delivered in a timely manner but delivered nonetheless, and 28 of them the shipping was bought on sunday and i planned to ship them on monday, but monday was the day the transfer was scheduled and i was locked out of the account that day forward. It makes me feel like it was a setup, so that i couldnt do anything and i would have to just wait to get banned and amazon can obtain the buyers money. Im probably wrong though.

I don't see the police department filing theft charges against Amazon. This would be a civil dispute, not a criminal matter. But I am not an attorney.

If the amount of money in the account is large enough and you can prove the orders were fulfilled, you might want to call an attorney to see what their advice is. Some people who have had funds confiscated this way have gotten their money back when they got an attorney involved.

The thing is, when we sign up with Amazon, we all agree to this. And it sounds like Amazon COULD make the case that they suspected fraud, so they were withholding funds so that they could refund the buyers in the event of any problems. What they are doing is probably legal, although it is VERY SHADY!

I have lost money this way and so have others. I know one forum member who lost over $18k. If the amount of money is small, I would just write it off as a cost of doing business and move on.

The thing is, it SOUNDS like (and I am not saying this IS the case, but this is what I get from reading what you have said) you had periods where you were slow on shipping. These days - especially on Amazon - that can kill your account very quickly. If you want to stay on Amazon, you HAVE TO ship within 24 hours. That is just the way it is. Everyone wants their stuff YESTERDAY and Amazon is VERY MUCH trying to accommodate them. Drones, one hour delivery schemes, you name it, they are trying it. I have to admit though, if they are ever able to nail that down, they will have one of the most successful companies on the planet.

The bank account you used for transfer,
was it used earlier in any seller account

also did your account recently come back from a review or any details that link you to a previous account where you had negative balance

Amazon will cane you if you are advertising goods that you are not able to ship immediately. Amazon don't want customers having a bad experience. In my opinion this account and the money is lost. Move on, run your business in a professional manner and you will soon make the money back. Trust me, I lost close to £80k in the UK but I have made that many times over.

I print all my shipping label to PDF file first to have a copy if needed

Its was Sterling not Dollars, so a lot more..... you basically lose 2 weeks turnover/cash flow and have to work harder. Supportive suppliers is a good help.
