New User Account & Browser fingerprinting

If I create 10 user accounts and have 10 amazon accounts (for example) and use the same browser like Firefox... won't that be a potential link since even though the new user account does a factory fresh browser install -- unless you change that around -- then all 10 accounts will have that same factory fresh browser install fingerprint.

Also... what about the timezone.

If I create a seller account whose address is supposed to be located in another state but the timezone is showing a different state, would that be a concern? Do you guys change timezone before you enter the amazon site as well?

10 user accounts, 10 amazon accounts on the same PC/Mac is fine. You just need a different IP for each account. Timezone no worries.

Browser fingerprinting won't flag it? Because it's the same exact data (Fonts, language, timezone, etc) across all 10 accounts if using the same browser per new account.

Amazon don't use browser fingerprinting at this time.

Re: New User Account & Browser fingerprinting

How do you know that they don't? Isn't this the reason we are creating new user accounts?

But even then that would be bad news if they do start browser fingerprinting. Then that might just start linking all our accounts.

There is a discussion here on the forums that mentioned fraud fox and antidetect. I'm looking into these. Antidetect seems to have been around longer so maybe more reputable, but expensive at $300-400. They make it so that each vmware account has different browser fingerprint/os/timezone/etc.

Re: New User Account & Browser fingerprinting

Don't waste your money. The reason for new user accounts is cookies etc, not browser fingerprinting. If you have a new browser on each user account you will never encounter a problem.
If it worries you, use Opera,Explorer etc
