Notification of Restricted Products Removal

Hello, i am a new seller on Amazon (2 month).
On the first week , i had this notification about restricted product removal and they told me i have to delete this listing within 48 hours, so i did.
As i saw dozens of sellers selling the same product, i decided to take new pictures and to relist it, and i had not problems since. Unfortunatly , this morning , i get the same notification for 3 of my other products... so i deleted all my listing.
so please , give me advice :
- how many of this notifications will i get before seeing my account suspended ?
- would it be safer to close my account by myself now and open a new one in few days ?
- how is it possible other sellers sell the same products for several years without having their account suspended ?

I hope some of you can help me , and please be kind, i know i'm a newbie...:pry:

You won't get many more, if you don't want to lose that account you better stop listing it. If you don't mind getting your account blocked, then keep re-listing. Also, when you receive warnings like this, how will you appeal that if you get suspended. You are likely
to lose the account permanently if you get suspended.

The other sellers may have been approved to sell the item or are just getting lucky.

Sorry OP, but most likely the issue is your country.

You're not from the US, so Amazon suspects you're dealing out phakes. Maybe it's not right, but that's what they assume.

You're going to have a lot of problems on Amazon, I'm afraid.

Re: Notification of Restricted Products Removal

Stealth is the answer. But don't just close this account. You can STILL sell other things on it. Even if you don't have anything to list at the moment, you should try to keep it if at all possible. Amazon is tightening up their security measures and stealth accounts for Amazon are becoming more rare. So you want to hold on to them if you can.

As always, helpful advice, Jeff. But this doesn't resolve the OP's issue. He lives in Thailand. THAT'S why his listings are being removed.

And, no offense to the OP, but I'm 99% sure whatever you're selling probably IS phake, as Thailand and China are where most phakes come from.

Tooknapa, you need a VPN based in the US from say 123 who has good deals and a excellent service.

well, if you sell the f.ake hotness, you will just be suspended every time. everything else is pointless.

if other sellers do it, then emulate them because they sure aren't going to help you. nothing is going to make you invincible

The issue is not the country, it is because the product i sell is not allowed by Amazon policy. It is 100% genuine, not phake, and is see many Thai seller selling this , they have good feedback since more than 1 year ...

I am doing stealth account right now, only the prepaid card is missing, but i'll get it next week. I read on the book that i can add the same information for deposit bank account than the first Amazon account, does it really works ? i fear of getting caught and they keep my money.

100% genuine product !!! China, Cambodia, Myanmar have many copy, but not Thailand..
cheap doesn't mean phake , and expensive doesn't mean genuine

Adress, phone, bank account in Thailand but IP adress in US, are you sure they will accept it ?

Set everything up stealth in the US. I was not aware amazon payments could be made direct into a Thai bank account. Only HK banks in Asia accept amazon payments to best of my knowledge.

BangkokBank has a US branch linked with thailand, so we can use their routing number and the send money into thailand bank account via US BangkokBank.
I don't know how to set up stealth in US as i never go there , i can't open bank account , etc .. right ?

Yu are already sending money to a US bank in the eyes of amazon, so banking can remain as it is. However you will need a new bank account to prevent linking.
Read the forum, its very easy to set up a US based account for amazon.

You can put in your notes regarding the product "shipped from Thailand" and set delivery to 10-14 days. Or even easier use FBA.

Amazon won't be fooled by USA IP, bank, etc when the product is shipped from Thailand. That was my only point.

If done correct its no problem, one of my companies ships from the Philippines in a set-up like I have described. Traded over 2 years with no problems.

You learn something new everyday!

My bad. I assumed they would pick that up pretty quick.

But anyways, follow Mickys advice, 99% sure the issue is your country, not the product, OP

Re: Notification of Restricted Products Removal

Ok , i want to try the US amazon account but i have two question :

- the "Billing Postal Code" for the "charge method" will be located in Thailand, so, do I have to buy an AVS Amazon card ?

- I looked for it on the forum , but i can't find how to get a US number phone, I assume that i can't use a Thai number, Right ?

and sorry , i have one more question , my name is in Thai (something like this : อเมซอน) does it matter ? :pry:

thanks again

I would reccomend buying a card. You don't nessesarily have to purchase from the forum, but if you want to appear to be a US person to Amazon, you'll need everything in order.

Name will be stealth, i.e. made up, so your real name doesn't matter.

You will need to start a NEW stealth account for this, however.

Not sure how to get the phone #. Try Google.

Best of luck! :)

Seems like you have an approach to work with

Re: Notification of Restricted Products Removal

BTW, not saying 100% that the Country is the issue....but that's my guess. There are a LOT of phakes made in Thailand. I don't know statistics, but suffice it to say that if it comes from Thailand, it's suspected of being phake.

You're probably 100% legit, but Amazon doesn't know you from the drug dealers in Cambodia, so they're going to make assumptions based on the worst stereotypes.
