Virtual Machine OS (Windows and Linux)?

Hey,

I would like to have two Amazon accounts and I plan on doing the accounts on two virtual machines. Would it be wiser to use two different operating systems to further separate the accounts? I was thinking of using Ubuntu and Windows 7.

Any thoughts?

I don't feel it is necessary but it would certainly do no harm
