Amazon Seller Verification (Credit Card) Questions?
 

I don't know a thing about Credit Card security, I am not sure what security methods amazon uses to confirm and verify a VCC or Credit card. All I know is when I use a credit card from a major U.S. bank account (Wellsfargo) and when it has funds on it my Amazon stealth accounts are bulletproof, but when I go to my local rite-aid, walmart, etc. and get a prepaid card with funds on it or even a entropay card with funds amazon always tell me they can not verify the card blah blah blah, and it needs to be a valid U.S. card blah, blah, blah. I am tired of the bull****. I am in need of a active Amazon seller account which I can create myself if I had the finishing tool a "Credit card or VCC" that works with amazon :hail: . I am very desperate at this point and I refuse to continue to lie to my bank and tell them I lost my credit card just so they can send me a new one, I did that like 12 times this year. Do any one has a confirmed suggestion about amazon's seller security measurements, and if you are going to direct me to the aspkin marketplace could you atleast narrow it down to the exact seller who know of or sell such cards.

I also have some other indepth questions about finances, irs, avoiding taxes (legally), etc. but thats another post. check out my threads if you have answers.

There are so many posts on this subject, just read them.

Also if you have lost 12 accounts this year I would first look at your methods as you are doing something very seriously wrong.

This is what I'm facing the same problem as you are:
I've tried with many different gift cards, but none of them was working. I bet Amz doesn't allow sellers to use gift cards as a chargeable method anymore.
Does anyone knows of any other unique type of gift card BIN works with amz now? Please send me a PM, I would really appreciate that.
P.S: The weird thing is that some of my other seller accts are still using the vanilla gift cards with long exp after 2020,those are still good now. amz did NOT ask me to update new credit cards for those accts.

Got It! The solution to this problem is a capital one virtual credit card which is a AVS card. Works perfectly for me.

Positive my friend. I use US amazon accounts, so I don't know if it will work in the UK for you, however if not you can always use a US amazon account to sell in the UK and elsewhere in Europe for that matter.

Sorry buddy, I meant to say Citi-Bank VCC, not capital one. I mixed up the two.

Do you need to be located in the US to get the Citi-Bank VCC?

Citi Bank offers unlimited Virtual Credit Card #'s as sub-accounts for credit card holders.

If you don't have/can't get a REAL Citi Bank card, you can't get Citi bank VCC's. Period. End of discussion.

I thought citibank cards dont let you change the address on the VCC so you get a avs mismatch. You can get VCC but all the addresses would be the same. Correct me if I am wrong.

I thought the same thing, but with the AVS verification thingy, turns out it works on any address. This is just based on my use with Amazon though, I use them all the time and each Amazon account uses the same different addresses from state to state however the address on file with Citi-bank is one primary address that never has been changed. Hope this is music to your ears.

What about name-- did you use same name as your citi-bank primary infomation? I have a citi bank card, and looked into the VCC part but always figured it would only accept my address + name... I guess I'll have to try this with pp soon.

No company verifies the "name" on any credit card in the USA, period.

AMEX does, Name, Street Number, Zip Code. But all 3 don't need to match

Hi,
This is my first time to post on here. So if I have a credit card in the name that was suspended from Amazon as long as I never used it on Amazon they won't be able to tell what name is on it? Thanks to all of you who share your knowledge.

Amazon doesn't care about the name on your card as lon as it is not the same as a banned accound, so , simply put whatever name you want, and also, you should buy the book and/or read the forum more before opening a new account

Thank you for that information. I have purchased the Amazon Ghost and read it several times but I'm having trouble getting this card thing straight in my mind. I just don't want to go through all of this and do something that will alert Amazon.
