Uploading Images
 

I do bulk uploads to Amazon and list brand new products.

The most time consuming part is dealing with the images. I have all of the images accessible on my own website, however the IP associated with my own website is associated with a banned Amazon account from years ago.

I have tried Google Drop Box, Photobucket and none of these programs will retain the image name when uploaded in a easy to use format.

Does anyone have suggestions if I can use my URLs from the "banned ip"? Would amazon care? People use random URLs to upload images all the time.

Here is an example of the problem:

My web url:
www.bannedsite.com/imagename.jpg
www.bannedsite.com/imagename2.jpg
www.bannedsite.com/imagename3.jpg
www.bannedsite.com/imagename4.jpg


If I upload this image to Google Photo or any other hosting site, they will change the image name upon upload and I can not use the same file name path which causes me to manually type in each URL.

Is there a photo hosting site that would retain my image name when uploaded??

Excellent question! Im interested in this as well. Hopefully someone will chime in with a solution.

Not to get away from your question, but wouldn't it be just as easy to purchase a new site and essentially use it as your personal image host, with your own image names, and not risk your new account?

That sounds like it would require more effort than copying and pasting each image url with a new host.

How about get another domain name for your same hosting account?

If the same domain name points to the banned IP that Amazon is aware of, it does not work around a possible detection.

IS THERE ANY IMAGE HOSTING SITE THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO UPLOAD AND RETAIN THE ORIGINAL IMAGE NAME THAT IS UPLOADED???

Hosting is cheap these days. Also, I don't think Amazon will actually look at the image's link and ping your domain

So you think if IP 123.123.123.2 which points to www.mysite.com was associated with a suspended account and then I feed image urls from that same location that it will not cause a linkage?

Why have to use 123.456.789.22?

Just use www.agray34.com/test.jpg
or use www.agray-thebest.com/test2.jpg
