Question about address

I got a new laptop, using 24vc to hide my IP. Planning to file for an LLC to get a new EIN number and new name. So as far as I can tell, all is different. My question is, I'm planning on using a cousins address info. He does not have the same last name as me but he does have a buyer Amazon account. Will that be a problem? Also, are there any other things I'm missing or tips I need before I open my account?

Re: Question about address

The address will link you, may or maybe not a problem but no worth the risk. Just pick any random address in your area, hotels are usually good.

Thing is I don't want to pick a random address from google maps. I want an address that I have access to plus in case Amz asks for more info. I want this to be a long lasting account. What else is there to do, is PO Box good or UPS?

PO Box is good - mom and pop-type of postal outlet...

Mail forwarding, UPS store, PO box, you got lots of options. Just google mailbox in your area and shop around

I have random address's on several accounts that are years old. Once the account is open amazon will not ask for more info at this point in time. PO Box is an alternative, buts its not free.

If you use random addresses, how do you do it when a customer has to return something?

Can just include a note in the box letting them know if any problems can return to etc

Re: Question about address

Oh yes, thanks for the tip. So Amz doesn't mind you fill out a po box or UPS store address? It won't get your account flagged?

Re: Question about address

I wouldn't use a PO Box address. A UPS store address is a MUCH BETTER option.

What do you guys do when your business address is in the UPS store, but you ship out of a logistics company?

Re: Question about address

Oh yeah I was also thinking about that. My address would be a UPS store address but I want to ship all my stuff to Amz FBA, how would we do that?

All my sales are FBA so this is not an issue for me. Just weigh up the cost of a PoBox and the returns you are likely to receive.

Re: Question about address

For RETURNS, a PO Box is fine. You don't have to get the biggest one, they will hold anything that does not fit at the counter. USUALLY, they don't complain unless your mailbox is overflowing every day - then they will want you to upgrade to a larger box.

Re: Question about address

Jeff, if the mailbox is overflowing everyday with returns then the account will be dead in any event.
