Product variation or creat separate description page?
 

It has been almost 2 years since we started selling on Amz.
Many of our products are handmade and some are only vary in
color or size. So far we have launched each product in a separate
description page. We think of switching some of our products to
variations where we will have 3-5 different variation in the same description
page.
Can any of you recommend or suggest which method would more likely
have better sales? Or it doesn't really make a difference based on your
experienced.

if you use variation, they can share the same product review if im not mistaken.

Yes, they will, which we are ok with. We are just not sure if it will also
generate more sales.

for me more reviews=higher ranking= higher sales.

and as a buyer, i would prefer to have less listings as its annoying to choose from so many listings but sell almost similar items once i put my keywords at the search bar

Use variations, as the search engines don't always co-operate.
If a customer is looking for blue, they want to see it on that page they are on. Not having to switch pages and hunt it down will increase sales.
It has been proven that the less clicks a customer has to do, the better chance for a sale.

That's a good point. I guess I already know which strategy to go with. I will update if there was a major jump in sales. Than you guys.
