I'm sorry beforehand if this question is stupid
 

I'm doing a lot of research and I'm now close to finally opening my Amz stealth account. But I've been doing a lot of research online and on google. Well my question is, can Amazon know what you've been searching and looking up online? Or Amazon only knows whatever you do on its platform. I ask because I was recently looking up a product on Amazon and later that day when I was searching Google, that same product came up in an ad. I freaked out!

If i am not wrong its called remarking, now a days most of the companies do , track ur browsing history with cookies and other staff. so no need to worry.

Yes, they can see you eating, sleeping, taking shower or whatever you do, they know. :))

One thing interesting is that they can see what site you were on and when you leave what site you go to. Everything else is on the site only and IP pull or that is how I understand it anyways.

Thats amazon paying for google adds, google can see everything, amazon cannot see your browsing history etc. Amazon plant cookies etc once you are logged onto amazon, this is why you must have a clean browser.

Oh thanks, I was worried for a bit. I really thought Amazon could see everything and started doing research with a private tab on Chrome jajaja
