Question about a new account
 

Hi,

I have a question concerning restarting with amazon. I have a friend who is starting an amazon account, and I am looking to join as a silent partner. The reason I am silent is that I had an account previously banned with amazon last year.

I will only be logging into the account to upload product and check sales. All the information, accounts, and everything else will be in my partners name. I just need to log into the account, and need to know about using my computer.

I am considering buying a cheap old PC to use in place, but what i have done with this computer was:

Formatted and reinstalled the OP system.
Changed the MAC address
Changed the address on the router (I have cable modem. router & PC)
I created a new computer account

Just how safe is doing all of that? I still feel that Amazon will be able to know who I am (I envision 3 witches sharing an eye dancing around a cauldron) by some unheard of means.:nono:

Should i just go out and get a junk PC? I figure changing the router will also help. Is there anything else I should be worried about? This is my last chance to get back in an amazon biz, and I dont want anything to jeopardize this!

Did you buy amazon stealth already? I recommend doing that first, it would be pretty much the same steps as if you were running your own stealth account

Also if you want to you could tell your partner to use a VPN/VPS and that way when you login you could use the same ip as he does / and dont need a new computer, just make a new user account or use vmware

I was considering buying it, I would do so if I plan to run more than one account, which I may do in the future.

But right now, i just want to be sure Amazon wont link this machine to an account that closed 2 years ago. I have done many steps to cleaning the computer off of any of the possible fingerprinting that I saw online.

I am also going to use a browser I have not used yet.

From what i have seen here, I have done more than most people running multiple accounts.

As far as VPNs go, I read that Amazon will suspend any account they find using them....

So I hope I have covered my tracks
