Hi can amazon check the passport number for instance if i put a random number can amazon check the number. Also what if they ask for a copy does someone here sell a copy?

Well they know the structure of the passport number, check digits etc . They cannot see where you went on holiday

As long as you keep the same format, you should be fine. Only government agencies and law enforcements can verify the actual numbers.

I'm sure it's not going to work if you just randomly put numbers. The numbers must match the ID as far as I know. Maybe I'm wrong.
Anyone got successfully through id verification by supplying random numbers?

Amazon will ask for a scan copy of the passport, either straight after sign up or a few weeks later.

So am I getting this correct, you are going make up a passport number, which amazon in any event will know if it is in the correct format?

Well if the scan does not match the number you entered on sign up your dust anyway, unless maybe one digit out by a typo.

Amazon may also have access to the passport database the same as banks do as they are classed as a financial institution.

Well, you can give AMAZON the passport scan with random numbers.

The last low on passport, make sure it contains your birthday, your passport number. Then other numbers can be random

mayward, forging a passport as what you are implying can carry a very lengthy prison time and for what, an amazon account. There are lots of easier ways with little or no risk.
