Entropay for buying
 
Has anyone had success with entropay and buying on amazon? I hear some people are having success and some are getting avs verification.

Vanillas dont work to buy on amazon. AZ doesn't seem to accept entros

Well, it accepted Entro from me even for selling. Should accept Entropay for buying just like that.

You can easily get Vanillas to work though

Use the vanilla to buy a Amazon email gift card then use the gift card to buy.

This is simply not true. I literally just used a 200 dollar vanilla visa gift card yesterday for Amazon. Didnt register a name to it or anything.

You need reloadable gift cards, some of those are AMEX

For buying on Amzn,
I've used entropay for a couple years (a few times)
and as recently as this month, with no problems.
I'm not using the funds in the entro card to purchase,
just using it for verification.

Verification? When you create a buyer account it is verified?

I think Brainbuster talks about prime verification (that $1 test-charge). I am not sure, though.

@Brainbuster: what do you use to make the actual purchases?

Yeah Prime is $1. takes it even if AVS failed.

For me, entropay fails when I am trying to make purchases from any kind of US merchant. Everytime I use entropay, my orders are not processed because it doesn't have a billing address. Tried a few months ago to make purchases on amazon (no prime, just standard free shipping for orders above $35)...they closed my accounts minutes after placing the orders.
