| Taking The Micky | 09-03-2015 08:38 PM | 2 established USA accounts, failed disbursement Well guys its starting, 2 well established USA accounts over 2 years did not disburse today due to the credit card on file.
They were set up using gift cards so it now appears amazon are blocking accounts that have been set up in past using this method.
Luckily I have debit cards so not a big deal, but for some it will be. |
| jeffweico | 09-03-2015 08:52 PM | Re: 2 established USA accounts, failed disbursement There ARE cards available that work for Amazon. The thing is, they are no longer easy to get and they are no longer cheap. |
| ifox007 | 09-03-2015 09:02 PM | Re: 2 established USA accounts, failed disbursement If you used Vanilla gift card with EXP from and below 2020 to set up accts, they were all blocked, I believe yours was using this BIN ( 484735 ). some of my other accts using this BIN ( 484718 ) are still fine because the EXP is 06/2023. have you noticed the differences between these 2 BINs? |
| Taking The Micky | 09-03-2015 09:21 PM | Re: 2 established USA accounts, failed disbursement Here you go ifox007
5428 EXP 02/22 MASTERCARD
4034 EXP 07/22 VISA
Yes Jeff I have cards so its no problem, just making people aware what is happening. Fortunately once the card is verified they disburse immediately, no waiting for another 2 weeks |
| ifox007 | 09-03-2015 09:34 PM | Re: 2 established USA accounts, failed disbursement @Micky: Do you have any other established acct with this bin ( 484718 ) set up? If you have one, I believe it's still fine. |
| Taking The Micky | 09-03-2015 09:37 PM | Re: 2 established USA accounts, failed disbursement No, just had the 2 above, but there will be thousands of sellers with these cards I guess. |

Keep my finger crossing :) |
| Taking The Micky | 09-03-2015 11:10 PM | Re: 2 established USA accounts, failed disbursement Good luck Tony, but I guess within one month all gift cards will be void in sellers accounts. Amazon have all the BIN numbers so its easy for them. |

| Mikess3 | 09-05-2015 03:05 AM | Re: 2 established USA accounts, failed disbursement Hi, I used a VCC to open a new Amazon account about two weeks ago and it worked fine but today they sent me this email:
Your funds transfer in the amount of ****USD has been delayed because the credit or debit card information registered to your Amazon.com seller account is invalid. This information may be invalid because the card has expired or the billing address may have changed. etc...
I have limited access to my account until I update credit card info. You said it is ok to use a debit card ? doesn't my name need to match the debit card info along with the address ? if so, won't I get suspended for related account ? please let me know. Thank you. |
| Taking The Micky | 09-05-2015 08:21 AM | Re: 2 established USA accounts, failed disbursement Mikess3, as you are in the US and you have a debit card you will have no problem. The name does not matter. Choose an address within your post code, a hotel, bank, shopping mall etc. Use that address but with your house number and you will have no problem. I would say good luck, but you won't need it. Once you enter the info you have the option to disburse now and with 5 mins you will see you cash is on the way. |
Re: 2 established USA accounts, failed disbursement Nice to hear Tony |
