deposit method & name
 

hello everybody ...
I need some help again..

I read in Amazon Ghost that I can add my real name (name already used for one suspended account) for the DEPOSIT method, only a different bank account is needed. Is that still true?

I read other treads about that , but most makes me confused between deposit and charge method, and the most interesting tread i found is from 2012

so , if anyone could confirm, it would be great, Thanks

Don't use an exact copy of the name used. I am unsure of Thai banking, but maybe just use you initials for your forenames and typo in in surname and I guess you will be fine.

I would avoid using a name already known for suspended account - at least vary it up a bit

You cannot use a Thai bank in Thailand, but if they overseas branches in the US etc then yes off course you can and I would imagine that US branch would then be able to forward your funds to Thailand.

You can use payoneer or bangkok bank, make a quick search on google

I have payoneer and I use it for Amazon.com. The problem is that my current payoneer is probably banned from Amazon UK after they closed my account. I guess you mean using the London branch of Bangkok Bank. Are you using your real name through this method or you slightly change it as described from Amazon Ghost?

I started reading Amazon Ghost however I think one thing that is not addressed is the Amazon UK verification process. Even if you use a stealth name say for the deposit method how do members bypass the fact that Amazon UK requires to upload a bank document? Surely the bank document will have your real name and not the stealth name. The only solution I currently see is use a friend or family member. I do not see how can you be a stealth person in Amazon UK and still be able to provide the documents they require right from the start.

to be honest, i never try, but NOW in Amazon, when you try to set the deposit method, they ask you the country of your bank account, if you say Thailand, they tell you that you have to register to Payoneer with a link to it.

That was totaly diferent 2 month ago, when i open my first amazon account i could chose thailand for charge methode, but not for deposit method, thailand was not a possible choice (not in the list). It clearly mean "you can sell from thailand, but you can not withdraw you money"
The only way was to have a bangkok bank account, the only bank with american branch.
When i asked to the seller support , they only answer that deposit was not possible in thailand, and that i need to have a bank account somewhere else ....
I would be interested to know how much money they earn with Thai seller who cant withdraw ... and give up ...

payoneer banned from amazon uk, but still work on amazon.com ??

there are some other service same same payoneer, i don't know if they work or not

I don't know if bangkok bank has a branch in UK, if you are Thai, you can put your 2 different (european letter and thai letter) name for 2 different account without being linked

I think Amazon Uk is different , and you won't find all the answers on the book. As i don't use it , i can't answer for how to be stealth on it..but many people talk about this on the forum

No I did not mean that payoneer is blocked from Amazon UK but most likely my payoneer account number is after they locked my account.

Bangkok bank does have a London branch you can check this out below

Transferring into Thailand

You mean to say that in the deposit method in Amazon you can actually put your name using thai script? Is this allowed? How about the credit card? Can you do the same?

for credit card, sure you can do , for deposit, i never try, but i think it is the same

That's great news! Is this for Amazon USA or UK ? I am guess you are using either Bangkok branch in NY or London is that correct?
Are you writing your name in the deposit method using thai or Latin script?
