Is Amazon seller support lying?

I contacted seller support because I wanted to make sure that I can update my item with 800 reviews after it was merged. The reason for me updating my item is because there are now 14 sellers selling it so i wanted to include an item with the purchase to make it a combo unit for my sales to increase. It is my item along with asin. They said it was ok to update and add pictures and OK to contact every single seller of this change. I did just that and was able to help remove 4 sellers however about 2 hours after updating the listing the new pics were gone. I tried attaching new pics again unsuccessfully.

I immediately contacted seller support and ask for assistance again and they never responded.*

Two days later, I contacted them again to help me update my item and submitted pics and the new information and I was told the feature was out out of order and they did not know how long it was going to take. Now I'm stuck with inventory that is not selling.

Any thoughts?

Some update may take 3-4 days to show up but in your case the images already showed up on th AZ website and then went away. Someone deleted them.

I have an item that is no longer made or in production. Technically the company is gone. Anyways, No matter how many times I update the picture, a day or two later amazon deletes it and reinstates this old tiny image.

I dont get it but it happens and the item still sells so....

Are you using the same account to update as you used to create that listing?

You are saying because I am listing against and existing listing it does this?

No. If you are not using the same account to make changes that you used to create the listing on AZ it will do this.

You must also be clueless also as you must have given your card number to them in first place.

If Im correct, the person who actually created the listing is the only one who can make changes to it.
Like xmas tree stand xlt. Someone made that listing with all the specs, weight, etc. You merge your listing to it. You cant really change that listing much because you merged with the primary default listing. Sometimes its better to have your own listing. Use other accounts to post reviews on your listing.
I hated always being the back 20th page on my listing. No one goes past 2 pages. So I just paid like 10 cents per click and had the best price. Advertising helps
