Banned from buying on Amazon...

Hello all,

Ages ago i was banned on amazon from buying. Still dont know to this day why.

Ever since ive found a growing need to buy from amazon because of the convenience, fast delivery and price.

I've tried everything. And im fed up of ordering to friends houses etc.

If Amazon link my cards, name, address, or ip, then it links my account.

I've got around the address with a storage unit i can ship to, and ip with a vpn.

How can i order in the UK and pay without having to use my real address as billing? I've tried Pockit.com but i think that i have to use the address the card was shipping to as the billing address.

Does entropay work? Anything else? ANYTHING?

Do they not have PO Boxes or the equivalent in the UK?

Change the address on your CC and then use the new billing address. This isn't rocket science.

You cant just change the address on a card though can you? Dont you need to send in utility bills etc? And if you send in ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ones, thats actually straight up fraud

Ha?

Log into your credit card and change address. Takes about 30 seconds if you are a slow typing

Where would the fraud be?

Seriously, what yankee said.

You do know it's 2015 right? Everything is online and paperless.

The fraud is faking a utility bill, the address can be changed on line but then your credit file gets screwed.

Banjasam, you can however request your bank to have another address on file for online transactions stating you want goods deliver to your work address

Great point!

It is really easy to do with a bank debit card because the address does not register with credit bureaus

Why cant you just buy amazon gift cards? Even vanilla gift cards? Stop using the same browser.
Amazon will NOT block an entire address unless that address has some major (item not received, item damaged claims) on it. Im talking like 30 or so claims and multiple accounts being created with that same address.
So what are you not telling us???

Hi I am fairly new to this and need some help with this as well. I got banned from buying on Amazon and I am trying to create a new account to purchase with. If I have something sent to my home address which was on my old account, that wouldn't get banned? I only need one account.

The OP is in the UK. Things are different here, with regards to billing/shipping address, credit bureaus etc. We also don't have a facility to "add" an address to on credit card accounts. If the OP changed the address on his credit card, it was have serious consequences on his credit file.

OP, you can fund your amazon buying with gift cards (from morrisons, sainsburys)

Just be careful you don't overload your account with too many gift cards, as if your account is closed, you won't be able to spend the balance remaining.

That still doesn't resolve his address issue.

I'm assuming the UK has PO Boxes, or their equivalent, regardless of the terminology used to describe them.

EXTREMELY excessive returns or too many "The package never arrived" stories.

They didnt ban your address. They red flagged your browser cookies and IP address.

Buy amazon gift cards or vanilla visas or whatever they sell in UK.
Get a new windows user account, new email address, and IP. Trust me, youre address is fine.
