Default When you get the EIN # from IRS

When you get the EIN # as an LLC, how long do you have to actually file the LLC? Is there a time frame?

So I can just get an EIN acting as an LLC and never actually file for the LLC?

Your state will have an issue. IRS could not care less but honestly, states are far worse that the IRS.

You can always file in a nice and easy state such as WY or NV and pay a very small annual fee.

Reason I ask is because I want to wait the longest I can, in case Amz suspends me and then I didn't have to pay the LLC fees.

That's actually one of the questions when filing online, they ask the date your corp or llc was formed, you can put 1 year in advance from the day your applying for the EIN

If you try to enter a date further than a year it will prompt that a year in the future is the max

Thumbs up Re: When you get the EIN # from IRS

You don't need an EIN to get your account going. You can have three accounts with no EIN or SSN.

But forming a LLC, Corp with a EIN is good to show how much you made in the year for tax reasons.

Yes I know we don't need the EIN for personal accounts. You only need it after the 50 sales mark. But my question was, once you input the EIN from your (not yet created) LLC, how long do you wait to actually file the LLC?

YOUR PERSONAL residence is irrelevant to what state you file in. Hence NV and WY are great options.

Professional?
I think I mentioned this in aother thread. CA will charge you 800 dollars a year. Im not sure if you can get out of it if you say you never sold or you created the EIN by mistake etc.
If you dont pay, Im not sure how CA collects or maybe they just dont let you get another LLC unless you pay.

Just stick with a few personal accounts and avoid the drama if youre going stealth.

If you can make one legit, great. Just give SS# for Pro

Yankee is correct. Delaware is another great state. Over 50% of Fortune 500 companies are incorporated in Delaware. Great literature here:

Who cares about CA fees? Your new company will be in WY. Your LLC will pass its profit to you in CA and you pay your income tax.

What are you missing?
