Amazon 14 day rolling reserve

hi received an email from amazon about my account going into a rolling reserve. it says £98 will be disbursed on 09 oct can i request transfer of this £98 or will it be after 14 days? the message i received is as follows

ello,

We are conducting a review of your account. During the review, a rolling reserve will be applied to funds in your account from your sales on Amazon.co.uk.

The reserve will be equivalent to your gross sales amount for the preceding 14 days. Based on your order volume, the amount of the reserve may change daily.

When your account balance exceeds the reserve amount, funds will be available per your disbursement schedule.

You can view your account balance, estimated payment schedule, and reserve amount on the Payments page in the Reports section of Seller Central (https://sellercentral-europe.amazon....t-summary.html).

Account reviews are intended to ensure the timely dispatch of orders and compliance with our selling policies. Please continue to fulfil orders and list only items that you are able to dispatch by the Expected Ship Date.

You can help with the review process by sending us more information about your business. To do so, click the "Appeal" button next to this notice on the Notifications page in the Performance section of Seller Central (https://sellercentral-europe.amazon....ications.html/).

To learn more about account reviews, search “Account Reviews” in Seller Central Help.

We will notify you by e-mail when our account review is complete.

Thank you for selling on Amazon.co.uk.

Sincerely,

Merchant Review

So, IF you dont sell anything, after the 14 days your full funds will be released. IF you sell items, funds for the average of 14 days will be held. Anything over that average will be released. The more you sell, the more Amazon holds.

The way I understand rolling reserve, but maybe I am wrong. On day 15 you can disburse the sales from day 1 and so on. So after 28 days you will have been able to disburse you entire funds from the first 14 days.

It is 14 day average sales $$ that they hold.

So if you are consistent no problem but if you spike sales they will hold more and more until the 14 day average is held.

This is for ROLLING RESERVES.

If it is a standard 14 day distribution, then that is 100% of your previous 14 day sales at date of distribution. In the USA this is for pretty much all accounts.

I honestly never understood this reseve. I understand the 14 day hold on individual accounts. I do know that any postage you buy comes directly out of available money that would have gone to your disbursement.

Ive never given them any documents to help speed up the review. Funny because once the review was over, they always thanked me for sending in what they requested. Its all automated mostly.
