CC verification - quick question

Hi Guys,
I`m about to open another Stealth account and I have a question regarding the CC.
I have a debit card that belongs to one of the major banks in the US.
Now I know it will go smooth at the CC verification with it but I`m about to close bank account attached to it in a month .... is it going to be a problem? does Amazon check the Card every day to see if it`s active?

Ive heard they check every disbursement for some reason.
