Account suspended - Do I have to add EIN for 90 day payout
I was curious. I usually end up adding an EIN long before an account gets suspended but I do have a few that got suspended before I added an EIN. They have roughly $200 - $3000 in varying amounts in them. Will have to add an EIN before the 90 day payout to get it?
I'm still getting emails about the EIN being invalid even though the accounts are suspended.

Some accounts you will need an EIN to get the money out, even after a suspension... but if you are at 50 sales or so for the year they might let you slide if they are requesting an EIN. I have had both versions happen and it is frustrating to have to register an EIN to get money out. Cause you are losing $700 right there (if you are in California). If anyone knows a way around this I would like to hear.

Absolute rubbish, amazon will pay on 90 days, EIN or no EIN. Simple
Re: Account suspended - Do I have to add EIN for 90 day payout
I was just curious. I know the requirement for IRS reporting is 200 transactions and $20,000 which I did not cross. I just found it curious they were still asking for my EIN even though the account had been suspended. Funny enough I actually got another email that the accounts were suspended (again) for not entering a valid EIN. Still seems like a reasonable question so I'm not sure why all the negativity but thanks for the responses I guess..

Just another way for them to hold money longer right? Hate it. I have managed to get them to release it sooner then the next distribution date but its taken a ton of work and calls and emails.

No. They were suspended for various reasons but not EIN. Some were failed review, others were because they were related to a previous account(products). Apparently they were suspended a second time for no EIN after they were already suspended.

Wow. What a surprise! Accounts are suspended for being related, after you list 700,000 products at once? Hate to say I told ya so...

....I'm not upset about it at all. We expect that to happen and I've mentioned that before. The payout far outweighs the hassle of firing up new accounts and since the accounts take about 1 hour to set up and last 1 - 2 months for us its very worth it. Different people offer different products. This works for us but may not work for others or it may work for others. I don't think its productive to totally skew a thread off course because my methods don't follow what works for you. I find that a good portion of the stealth theories and methods I go against.
I digress though. The question I originally posed is to avoid any issues after 90 days.

Also, in my experience, once your account gets suspended due to not providing EIN # after sales have hit 50, you can use that account again the following year. I have three accounts with no EIN that gets suspended every year after 50 sales.

You can use the account even after 50 sales without ever supplying real tax info....
