I sucessfully created a ghost account on Amazon nearly a year ago now
but for a few weeks i have been getting emails from amazon saying that my payment method is being declined.

They also automatically cancelled my pro seller subscription due to this. The reason i have an outstanding amount that i owe is due to a couple of refunds and returns from customers and also my pro seller subscription charges which usually come off the balance in my account at the time.

I wish to keep selling on Amazon and pay my outstanding balances but the big problem is that my charge method is a visa gift card which only has £25 on it.

Can i use any other card the clear the balance or does the card need to match the detail of the account holder?

This is the email i have been receiving from Amazon:

"You have a balance due on your Amazon seller account. We confirm that in our agreement with you, we are authorised to charge your credit card for any such balance, but when we attempted to charge your credit card for this balance, your credit card issuer declined the charge. This may simply be the result of the credit card information you entered in your seller account not matching the credit card issuer's information.

Please contact your credit card issuer as soon as possible to verify that your account information is current. Once you have confirmed your account information, please follow the instructions below to update your credit card details.

Note: All Amazon.co.uk sellers are required to provide a valid credit card for use with their seller account. Failure to update this information could result in the cancellation of your selling account.

Update your credit card information by doing the following:

Note: Please print these instructions for future reference.

1. Log in to your seller account and go to your seller account information page.
2. In the "Charge Method" section, click Edit.

What card is currently on the Amazon account? What type of card...

For verification and as the charge method it is a Visa Debit gift card £25

That's why it won't work as Amazon blocked these cards yonks ago

I curently have 3 ghost account and all 3 have been fine using the Visa gift card. The problems started which they needed to charge my card!

I received another email today saying to please pay byt 20th October

You need to buy / find one that works with the correct amount of £ loaded.
