Suspended from Amazon with inventory in FBA. Now what?
 

So I just got suspended a week ago. Ill go into the details in a separate thread as I feel there are always learning opportunities for everyone reading.

With that being said, I have about 500 items in FBA I need to get back. When going to look at the removal fees - http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...deId=200685110 it states that the return fee is 50 cents per item. Is this a flat 50 cents PERIOD? Or is this 50 cents plus the normal fbas fees of pick and pack, handling and weight fee? Because obviously that is a huge difference. I find it hard to believe Amazon would only charge 50 cents to ship a 15lb item back to me. So if I have 800 items, it will cost me $400 to get them back?

I just want to make sure. I was looking at the fulfillment option and it was only 75 cents per item with no pick and pack fee per item. There is a per order fee but its like 4.75 regardless of qty. Some items are not worth the entire FBA fee, so I would just use the dispose item on them, which is 15 cents each.

I just want to get them back the quickest way possible as they have alot of value and need to be sold, especially since they are still holding my money for 90 days.

Its 50 cents per unit or 60 cents for oversize as far as I am aware.

Have you appealed to get your account reinstated?

How much funds are amazon holding as return fees come out of this.

If you are selling these goods online on another marketplace you could make a return for each order you get and add the customers address. However FBA returns are not the fastest process.

100% correct.

Regardless of item size/weight, the max you will pay is 60 cents per returned item.

yes that is correct.

if you still have access to your account you are very likely to get them removed and returned.

but if your account is deleted, very unlikely you will get your item back.

I don't see how AMZ could keep your inventory. They can charge you to send it back, but they can't legally keep it, even if account is deleted.

I would sue them in small claims court. In my state, that is up to $10,000 + court costs you can sue for. . . and Amazon has to pay for an attorney to appear in court, while you can represent yourself. I would guess that they would send your stuff back in short order.

In amazon's terms, if they suspect your goods are counterfeit they can keep and destroy them. This is the main reason accounts are deleted, wether the seller knew he was selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or had a dodgy supplier. Who would go to court and try and reclaim counterfeit goods and more than likely the account is "stealth"
