Deleted account still paying me...
 

Some of you may remember a while ago, I lost an account and thought I lost 12k until one day it was released. After getting the cash I didn't bother logging back into the emails or bank account... until today... and what a lucky find. Bearing in mind I haven't contacted them for months and waved goodbye to this account

I had the below email from seller performance back in August:

'Dear XXXXXX,

Thank you for contacting Christopher North with your enquiry. I am part of the Seller Performance escalations team and your email has been passed to me for review. Mr North will receive a copy of this e-mail.

A specialist from the A-to-z Claims team has thoroughly reviewed all A-to-z Guarantee claims filed during this period and has determined that you should be credited:

€XXXXX in Amazon.es
€XXXXX in Amazon.de
€XXXXX in Amazon.fr
£XXXXX in Amazon.co.uk

These refunds have been issued and disbursed to the bank account on file and should arrive in five to seven banking days of this date, XXXXX.

Thank you for your patience during this review.'

I thought... Really? So logged back into my old bank account (luckily I didn't close this) and found over a grand... Happy days... Steak for dinner :laugh:

This was the only account I ever lost (through being deleted) and kept at them and got my cash a while ago and then found this today.
So anyone that has lost an account, it may be worth continuing to chase them on this. Never know when a bit of pot luck will strike.

I can withdraw money from my suspended account, did last night.

When an account is deleted, you don't have access to it. Suspension still allows you to log in.

yes I know . for that account I managed to withdraw nxt day after suspansion where they normally hold for 90 days.

You only got a grand out of 12k? If you consider that a victory....ok....

No GOA he got his $12k plus a grand in a2z claims months after he got his 12k

GOA, sorry buddy, but read the post correctly. He actually got 13k not the 12k he was expecting.

If you say so....I read "found over a grand". A grand is 1k....unless that's code?

You can see in an older thread where I mentioned I received the 12k (less refunds), I did mention it in this thread that it was released too, for those that missed the last thread.

The 1k was from A-Z claims being reimbursed back to me, check the email I've copied & pasted.

Anyway, reason for the post was to make others, in a similar situation, aware that there is a chance to get cash from deleted accounts (this has been a debated topic over the last few months on here) by contacting the correct email address.
