UK Business Seller Account set up
 

Hi, I wanted to register a seller account with a UK limited company and need to know what amazon requires.

First off I was blocked on Amazon Germany with one account and now I am trying to register again with my own name and Info but with a new adress and a UK Limited company and bank account.

So my worries are that even if I open a Limited company in the uk, that I cant use my name and Id to open the amazon account... anyone has experience if I can use my old ID but new adress etc Is it possible?

And which documents will amazon ask for? Can Anyone has list this? So i can prepare some stuff.

Most of the UK accounts currently I make are getting fully verified within 24 hours with nothing submitted. It depends on address, business type, phone number, VCC / credit card you use as to whether they will want docs.

you don't need to start a LTD company - start as a sole trader and provide a UTR - you can still pay tax :)

What is a UTR? so with a limited they will ask for documents and as a sole trader probably not?

You can be asked at any time for information to prove the info provided.

UTR - Unique Tax Payer Reference - you get one of these as a Sole Trader for each Sole Trader company you run. They cannot verify this number with HMRC.

You DO need to be paying your taxes though, the forum only helps users with eBay and Amazon and TAX related issues need to be handled by professionals. DO NOT avoid paying tax.

I´m also from germany and would like to do the same as you. start a UK Ltd and register an account with the company info.

At some stage Ltd Co. or sole trader they will ask for ID, that being a passport and utility bill.Amazon have slightly changed again and I believe once you hit £15k this is when the info will be requested.

UTR is only requested for sole traders, not Ltd companies.

What about the possibiliy to have a shareholder and director nominee? This way u can stay completely anonymous I guess.
