Amazon UK New Seller Account Suspended
 

Hi Guys,

Just wanted your advice.

I was suspended by Amazon 5 months ago and just last week as was getting bored sitting about and thought to come back online and start trading.

I decided to open a Seller Account on my wife's name she has never had an Amazon account and provided all ID and within 1 hour got eMail from Seller Performance saying your selling privileges has been removed.

I had appealed and provided all information but they stating they are not interested and have significant evidence to state a selling account can't be provided.

Any thoughts as my wife has never had an Amazon Seller account before?

Did you use the same address as the one on the suspended account? If so, Linked.

Did you use the same PC? If so, linked

Did you use the same internet connection? If so, linked

Just a few possible scenarios. Get the Ghost guide and follow the steps. It talks about how to avoid being linked and how to get back on Amazon.

Zaidy - that's not true at all.

Using the same Internet connection doesn't mean a link.

Using the same PC doesn't mean a link either.

I would say the address could be a factor where they've blacklisted it but people move all the time so that's a hard call to make as someone else could live there.

If you've used the same surname then they probably think you're circumventing the system

Also, did you create an individual account or pro?
After how long did they ask for docs?
What VCC did you use?

Callidus: Same IP and same PC will have linked him. He will not have set up a new user account on the PC.
Using your unique/fixed IP which only you use it will link you. If he has dynamic IP I bet he has not switched the router on and off to give a new IP. IP's used by many users will not link you but its not a very safe method.

Indeed. It's easy to check whether a IP address belongs to a consumer high speed line or a dongle. Amazon knows it's unlikely that IP address is being shared with someone else if it's a high speed line.

Sorry for confusion Callidus, I assumed he did not set up a new user, using the same IP etc etc.

Taking The Micky - sorry I assumed he had done all the 'basic' steps so that he wouldn't be linked.

Obviously user hasn't done that by reading again.

Hi,

I had used my wife's name her surname is different to mines and on my old account address was not my current residential address.

Secondly I did use same PC where I used to access my old Amazon many months ago.

In regards to documentation I had uploaded them straight away her Passport and Driving Licence.

It was a Pro account but I wanted only an individual account but had to apply for Pro and then downgrade.

I got an eMail within 1 hour to say account privileges have been suspended was shocked and appealed two times but Amazon not listened.

As far as I am aware there was no new Amazon or old Amazon at my current home address.

Hi Guys,

SORRY I AM STUPID OR DAFT. CALL ME WHATEVER. I am all new to this and only read this after this happened.

I have been off Amazon for 5 months but thought let's get on it with my wife's name but now know what has happened.

1: Never created a new username
2: Modem and Internet is Plusnet Fiber Broadband
3: Used same PC where I accessed old Amazon
4: Used my wife's banks details never been used on Amazon

Not sure how do I set one up but any advice would be appreciated as I am looking to set up on ASAP before Xmas but need help.

You're not stupid or daft - learning this process and how to setup yourself can take time, forum is here to help you.

Get the Amazon Ghost guide - that will help you get started to UNDERSTANDING what is needed to run the accounts successfully.

Hi,

Yes I am thinking of buying Amazon Ghost but just looking for anyone in UK or Scotland bought and if it's worked.

As I don't want to buy and then get nowhere.

If anyone has bought and has a successful running account then let me know. Ideally I don't want to open account and then get it suspended in 2-3 or 6 months as it will be a proper LTD Company or a Sole Trader business.

The book gives you the basics and you certainly need to know and understand how amazon works.

You need fresh unused information, you have used your wife passport and bank details, you can NEVER use this info again.

Before you try to open a new account post your plan here and wait for comments

Thanks for this well I have used my information but my account was opened 4+ years ago and I am sure at that time I did not provide any ID but I guess that name is out also.

I am confused if I have used my wife's name and my name is already suspended then how can I open an account.

Do I need new ID and how would I go about that.

I do understand basics of Amazon and understand all the selling but after suspending don't understand how to do what.

Can you advise as I don't have any other ID.

Sorry to hear that the ID uploaded has now been wasted and will not be able to be used ever again...

You need to think "stealthily" if you want to get back on again.

If you've exhausted all means of getting back on Amazon yourself (friends & Family). You can buy the account.
Callidus is an approved seller of Amazon UK accounts here, just visit the 'Stealth Accounts' section of this forum.
But, you need to learn the stealth strategy before opening or buying another account or it'll be a waste and you'll be linked again.
Best getting the ghost guide and reading it a few times. Then refer to the forum for other help and advice on anything you're unsure about.

Your passport will be fine as you will never have used this in the past. You need an alternative address though and be able to get utility bills with that address on t be verified. Think "photoshop"

Thanks for all the comments.

I think I can get ID either my brother or someone in family but address is going to be a problem as I am sure my brother had an Amazon Seller account years ago but at that time ID was not provided.

I am not keen on photoshop and don't have the experience to edit such documents as it would be too complex.

From my understanding ID is a major requirement for Stealth which I don't have so I am confused will Amazon Stealth provide that.

The rest of the steps I am understanding maybe you guys can give me a list it is as follows to my understanding

New Windows User Account
New IP - Via VPN from VMC24
New ID Details - Including New Address (Virtual Address???)

What maybe the other steps.

Also indeed I have spoken to Callidus and he can provide account. Money is not an issue but thought maybe worthwhile trying to create my own first.

What do you guys recommend buy an account or create one yourself via Amazon Ghost Guide's help?

buy amazon ghost first. it covers the basic. although im sure callidus can cover the basics for you if you ask him.

the book is much cheaper and is longer term.

if you just buy and ask callidus, it could be long term, but some questions might be missed. ask your seller and decide. :)

Buy the books, read them thoroughly. The forums & Google are your new best friend.

Yes stealth Amazon can be done successfully.

Callidus is brilliant, I think it's important that you understand the steps to create your own so you don't waste an account.

@ScotlandHouseBuyers - as on our PM and I advised you to get the book.

There is absolutely no point you buying an account if you don't understand how to keep the account seperate from any banned accounts and in the future other accounts you may want to run. It outlines basic knowledge and that is needed without a doubt for Amazon, it's a different beast to eBay.
