Dedicated IP Address

So,

Nightmare situation!

Using dedicated IP address and accidentally logged in to my old Amazon account. Account is under review but I don't want to miss out on Christmas sales. What to do??!?!

Pray and set up new accounts.

How do you "accidentally" login to your old account? You NEVER login to old accounts. Delete any autofill data and get rid of everything related to it. Delete the email attached to it. Get rid of it.

it happens. Unfortuntely, That account is dead in a week. New accounts. Takes 5 minutes. Make like 4 of em.

It shouldn't happen. Follow my advice listed above and it will NEVER happen. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

If I don't login to that IP address again and use another IP address for the new Amazon account, Amazon may not close it right?

How long were you logged in for?

How old is your new account?

Any similarities with your old and new account?

As long as unlinked....chances are decreased for closing

Personally, I would dump the VPN used to login to the old account. Request a new dedicated IP from your VPN provider and pay the fee for it. Better safe than sorry.

You should be OK, just relax if name address etc are all different.

Was this on the same PC and user account?
