Share beating Inauthentic Cases

I recently received an inauthentic claim that was ruled out against me. This was an item that is my private label, correctly advertised, etc. Obviously I was not notified why my items were flagged in the first place, or why my appeal was denied.

The reason this community is successful, is because we share light on what Amazon intends to keep hidden. So I was wondering If sellers here can share ways that they were able to successfully overturn inauthentic
(or any other) performance notification claims (without mentioning identifying product specifics of course).

Re: Share beating Inauthentic Cases

Basically if amazon says it inauthentic and you have no invoice from a licensed distributor you will not get it overturned.

If its your private label you must have the licence/intellectual copyright to produce the item and show this to amazon.

If you don't have this in place amazon will assume its a copy of someone else's product selling under your brand.

I had invoices from a licensed distributor, and sent to Amz repeatedly, but they didn't care enough to even look at them.

You are talking about something different.

OP was talking of merchandise that I would expect had their own ASIN.

Thanks for your responses, everyone. I actually posed this question more generally - I'm not looking for specific advice about my case, but I am trying to gather a consensus or a few anecdotes of the successful methods you guys have used to combat these false "inauthentic" claims.

Unfortunately, I don't think you'll find any. The only successful ones I've seen are bulletproof invoices from the manufacturer.

Even that doesn't work. Trust me. Once Amz gets it in for you, they don't care.

Are you undercutting Amazon themselves? and if so, by a very large margin? I find that competing directly with amazon is not really a great option, even if you are the manufacturer and brand holder.

Why would that matter? If I manufactured an item Amazon was selling, and they suspended me, I'd stop supplying....

I find that Amazon does other things such as 30 day average sale rolling reserves and whatnot.

And stop selling to the largest internet retailer in the world who always pays and on time does not make a lot of cents...

Just match price and use stealth works for me.

I sell to amazon and sell the same items on amazon cheaper than amazon and everything is sweet.
However even if I have the buy box amazon still sells a ton more than I do.

I have in the past ran into problems only when I undercut drastically. Usually when I want to clear out an item or near the end of the season and want to move thousands of items during the holiday season so dump the price 50% etc..

Years ago I was blocked from my own items and was never able to over turn it. That was all before I knew stealth and how to keep the peace. Quite frankly, I was not practicing fair business practices.

Yes, even I would not dream of undercutting amazon with big discounts, I usually stay between 5-10%. Even if I am clearing stock, I will just maintain a price to keep the buy box and hope other sellers are in the same price zone. To cheap and amazon thinks if ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

Sorry, but true. Completely authentic products with completely authentic invoices, purchased directly from the USA manufacturer. Also had 100% customer rating. That's why I am so stinking bitter. They shut down a $300k a year business unfairly. That's also why I don't consider stealth immoral. Thank God for these forums showing me how to get back on my feet.

You aren't the first one to have that happen.

GOA, you can't ⊗⊗⊗⊗ your own brand true. But not all goods we think are generic are intellectual property free. I am not saying your yours weren't though. But people copy stuff, put there own label on it and says its there brand.

I'm not one of those idiots who made a white iPhone charger in the exact share and dimensions of the real iPhone charger and called it the "MyPhone Charger".

My stuff was completely generic, regular household goods, basic crap. Not even electronics or cell phone cases....regular generic crap.
