My Amazon.fr was suspended a while ago and there is some fee to pay. How can I pay that? Do you think I can pay it with 3v or any other gift card?
Please help.
Thanks |

| Taking The Micky | 11-10-2015 11:09 AM | Re: How can I pay Amazon fee? If amazon have suspended your account, they don't care about your loss of income so why worry about there's.
They will not come looking for you or instruct debt agents, unless its $1000's.
They will attempt to charge the CC on file and if unsuccessful then try to recover the the cash from your bank by DD |

| frksmth | 11-10-2015 02:35 PM | Re: How can I pay Amazon fee? If your bank accepts direct debit, then they can easily take the money from your bank as long as there are sufficient funds available in the account. Quote:

how can they do A DD? | The only way you can pay Amazon fee is by adding a cc on Amazon and they don't accept gift cards/ prepaid cards. So it's their loss really.
I had the amount necessary to pay amazon fee on the prepaid cc for one suspended account. When the time came to collect the fee, they said that they couldn't charge the card. I left the money on the card for two successive payment periods, they came back with the same message. I took the money out of the card and left the account in a negative balance. I won't add my actual cc to Amazon. |

| Incorrect - they accept MANY different prepaids and gift cards :) |

| Maliquest | 11-11-2015 11:32 PM | Re: How can I pay Amazon fee? DONT PAY
Call bank and say that credit card is lost. They wont deduct from your bank account directly. Just from your card on file
Like they said, nothing happens unless its 1000s of dollars you owe or certain fraud.
No reason to pay unless you feel you wont go to heaven unless you do. Ive had them send me emails for over a year. They all go to my spam folder and I never see it. |

Ummm. Never had it happen to me. Never heard of them doing it to anyone else. Not from a bank account. Maybe from a card linked. Like I said, maybe if its in the 1000s of dollars
Just in my experience. So I dont know about anyone else. |

Have you heard them doing it to anyone?? Anything under 1000???
So youre telling him to just pay just because???? Id rather not pay and see what happens. Oh, I did do that and nothing happened. Oh. 4 other people did that and nothing happened. NOT WRONG ON MY END. |

Micky just said he had it happen him. Others have reported it as well.
Best you leave your "facts" in your head until you gain more experience.
It also depends on your banks. Some banks don't allow direct debit, some do. Amazon will TRY to debit your bank if the CC fails, doesn't mean the bank will allow it. Also, if you only use the bank for your Amazon payments, and there aren't funds to cover the withdraw, obviously they won't be able to debit....
Lots of reasons it MIGHT NOT happen, but telling people "Don't worry, it will NEVER occur" is just bad advice. |
| Maliquest | 11-13-2015 01:22 AM | Re: How can I pay Amazon fee? I never said it WILL NEVER HAPPEN.
I told him DONT PAY. Thats my advice based on my experience. Thats what this is all about. Has not happened to me, nor 4 other people I know of personally.
Not sure why you go out of your way to try to make it look like I keep saying MY WORD IS GOD AND SUPREME. As mentioned before, I offer my experiences and optional advice. And my advice was NOT TO PAY BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE.
So if that makes quoting me worth your time: cool. But trying to make it out like my advice is wrong, sorry, but its not wrong. DONT PAY THAT SHlT. If it comes down to it, cancel the card, cancel the bank account.
Or you know what, he can pay that. I can give a shlt less either way. But since he asked for our opinions, I gave it to him. Its his money he can pay so he sleeps well at night. Wont affect me either way.
And leave facts in my head til I gain more experience??? More experience at getting amazon accounts suspended with a balance to pay? Sorry but I dont plan on " gaining that experience" |
| Taking The Micky | 11-13-2015 01:43 AM | Re: How can I pay Amazon fee? Mailquest, first your advice like mine is don't pay. Amazon won't come after you unless we are talking serious money.
Amazon will try and charge the card on file for the funds due. If that fails they have authority as agreed the T&C to debit your account for unpaid fees. They do this I can assure you through experience. They cannot take funds however if the bank account does not have enough money. So the advice is empty the account. |

I don't monitor your posts. I don't read everything you post. I don't care. But when I see you posting advice that I know for a fact to be FALSE and WRONG, I'm going to correct you. Bad advice is bad, no matter who it comes from, "Word of God" or otherwise.
If you read my early posts, you'll see that I have criticized MANY Executive Members for posting blatantly false advice, such as that calling eBay will result in your account getting shut-down. I do not discriminate. If you lie or are ignorant, I don't care. Don't post bull****. It's that simple. People come to this forum for help, and if you're telling them something that isn't true, it's not helpful.
Telling someone not to pay is fine. Telling them "Don't pay because Amazon can't/won't do anything about it." is NOT.
