How fast to list?
 

So I have an account a little over a month old. Pro account and was wondering how many items can I list each week? The first month I did under $750. I know the holiday is around the corner and the sales will grow. Any help would be great.

Good question, we had a 4 month old account selling about £300 a week, Listed a good product 3 weeks ago that sold £1000 the first week, £3000 the second and third week.
Within 2 days I had both amazon payments asking for proof of bank ect, and Verifications team telling me I could no longer sell as an individual and had to switch to sole trader.
Forwarded all the requested docs and then got the email telling me they could not verify my account and I was no longer able to login so that was that account finished with.
Luckily I had just requested and received disbursements so no big deal.

So long story short, its not about how many items you list its about how fast the money comes in.

Dont put all your eggs in one basket, I allow upto 5 orders a day to keep below the radar. If you want to sell more open more accounts.

Never had a problem uploading new products. I've had new accounts where I've uploaded between 20,000 and 50,000 products immediately. Exceeded the so called '£750 velocity limit' very quickly and account is reviewed. I continue to sell whilst being reviewed and after around 2-4 weeks, the review finishes and funds are released.
But my items are of low value and low risk, if you sell high value high risk items, it may be different.

Whats the £750 velocity limit I have not come accross that before, I assum its not to sell more than £750 in a given period? Would that be weekly, fortnightly or monthly?

They say for the first month if you do over $750 your account goes in review.

Actually it could be any month over 750 or something. It varies. Had a few accounts go over 1000 first few months and nothing. What triggered a review was me having to add a credit card to the account. Next morning it went into review.

Just keep items under 150-200 dollars so they dont ask for receipts. Reviews arent that bad.
