hi ive had accountnning for about a month i got this message today

The credit card information in your seller account is invalid. You must update your existing credit card information or add a new credit card to regain full access to your account. Please check that your credit card is not expired, has adequate credit available, and is chargeable in the currency (GBP) of Amazon.co.uk Pre-paid cards are not acceptable.

You need a new card, its the only way to gain access to your account.

Not quite correct Micky, Amazon UK have had technical issues the last few days and SOME accounts are asked to re enter the card details and all is well. I would say this is one of them that needs re-entering.

Been mentioned that amazon may take a sweep pf any card during the lifetime of the account.

Sound practice is to always have enough funds on cards and thus prevent worries like you just had.

On my excel file, I have a column for such info. Prefer to have as little intrusion as possible from amazon. Unless they are making disbursements.

:)
