Callidus | 11-20-2015 10:29 AM | Amazon UK Changes So, seems depending on how some Amazon accounts are created in the UK you MAY come across this message: I have NEVER seen this before and I assume lots of current and experienced Amazon users haven't either. Seems to have been implemented yesterday.
"Welcome to Amazon Seller Central. Congratulations! You can start selling on Amazon.
Sell up to EUR 15,000 (or GBP equivalent) with your Selling on Amazon payment account.
Your account is currently under a disbursement limit of EUR 15,000 (or GBP equivalent). As you reach this limit, Amazon will automatically begin to verify your account in order to lift the disbursement limit. During this process, we may contact you if you need to provide us with documentation such as identity documents, proof of address or bank account ownership documents. Learn More"
Very interesting - seems that some accounts do not get asked to provide additional information immediately, some do though. The ones that do not will have a disbursement limits of £15,000 every 2 weeks. |
Lucifer | 11-20-2015 10:51 AM | Re: Amazon UK Changes Is it individual or pro? |
Callidus | 11-20-2015 10:57 AM | Re: Amazon UK Changes This is on a PRO account - I haven't got round to checking Individual.
This will lift though but they obviously want sales history etc before lifting it.
I do have a feeling it could be a new measure put in for the holiday season, I could be wrong though. |

dan_ebay | 11-20-2015 11:00 AM | Re: Amazon UK Changes got it aswell. Took me ages to get approved in the health category with my legit details. They've already got my passport, ltd company number, vat number and proof of address, wonder what else they'll want lol |
Callidus | 11-20-2015 11:11 AM | Re: Amazon UK Changes Category approval can be tough depending on the rep |
Freakzilla | 11-20-2015 01:36 PM | Re: Amazon UK Changes Where did you get £15,000 every two weeks pal. I read it as once you reach £15K you would definitely be asked for docs. Quote:

Blighty | 11-20-2015 02:01 PM | Re: Amazon UK Changes Yeah got it yesterday on an account from the beginning of the year |
wooha | 11-20-2015 02:39 PM | Re: Amazon UK Changes Dido, received the same for account created the other day in UK. |
Callidus | 11-20-2015 04:57 PM | Re: Amazon UK Changes I still personally think it's holiday season crackdown and it will clear. Not a panic station I don't think personally ;) |
blawal187 | 11-20-2015 05:24 PM | Re: Amazon UK Changes I noticed this on some of my old accounts. So is it when you hit sales of 15,000 or is it every 2 weeks? |
Callidus | 11-20-2015 05:32 PM | Re: Amazon UK Changes From what I have seen every 2 weeks. Others findings will be key, I don't think this is long term, just means expanding on accounts. Any USA users finding the same issue on .com? |
Taking The Micky | 11-20-2015 09:41 PM | Re: Amazon UK Changes Hi Buddy had nothing like this in UK or US, obviously new and I would say good news.
I would assume verifying every new account has become major headache for amazon and they are simplifying things.
I assume you mean a limit of £15k every 2 weeks but still the ability for daily disbursements. |
skytide | 11-20-2015 10:38 PM | Re: Amazon UK Changes yes
we meet the same problem.

Callidus | 11-21-2015 04:53 AM | Re: Amazon UK Changes Daily disbursements do still look possible, yes Micky. As Freakzilla said it might be that it's just a £15000 limit then verification, it's not entirely clear.
There's an easier way to still get verified should a user want to without doing £15000 in sales though. |

Callidus | 11-21-2015 06:37 AM | Re: Amazon UK Changes This is for new accounts where they don't ask immediately for anymore info. They'll then ask later on for more. |
blawal187 | 11-21-2015 07:17 AM | Re: Amazon UK Changes Oh ok so an account that has been verified doesnt have the disbursment limit |

LOMBOK | 11-21-2015 07:34 AM | Re: Amazon UK Changes Had the same message on an individual account that's nearly 2 months old. So far, they have not asked for any docs, invoices, etc. I have a fair way to go to reach that EUR 15,000 though. |
