amz asking for papers
 

I have a personal stealth account with some money on it. Some days ago the seller central become unavailable and instead there's a page saying that verification is ongoing and that if I don't provide the papers the account will be suspended.

I still can access everything, list items, mark items as sent, etc, but nothing financial.

I also marked one item as sent but now I'm not sure whether to send or not.

Did I lose the money there?

You're account is being verified by amazon.

You have 60 days to to comply, then you will be suspended. Disbursements should come as normal unless something has changed in the last few months.

Send your goods, it may be a Christmas gift, and you will get your money

Better provide everything or risk getting suspended and removed. It's very tough now. Almost too tough now in fact.

What triggers Amz for asking for papers out of nowhere, is this only a UK thing?

Back to reality though, how am I to play this? They're asking for driving license, proof of address and proof of bank account ownership. I don't even have that for myself, let alone for my alter-ego.

so even if you had an Ein attached they would still hit the account with paper requests?

The UK ask's for proper ID, passport, utility bill. This has been well documented in previous posts.
