Amazon AVS Card Check for Regular Disbursement
 

Hi guys I will keep my questions short.

Yesterday it's my first disbursement day, and Amazon UK told me that my existing card (a VCC, used to pass registration verification) has failed AVS check for disbursement ($1 authorization, I think), and disbursement was thus cancelled. When I logged in, the portal was stuck at the "verification screen" which blocked me from navigating to any other section until I would update credit card. So I entered an actual personal credit card with the match-numbers-only "trick", and the system saved the new card info, and everything is back to norm (I can navigate, and new orders come in again). :welcome;


My questions, for those who have done such credit card update, are:
1. Does the fact that I passed the "update screen" means that my card is good and verified? Or is verification still pending?
2. I picked "disburse me as soon as my card is verified" option, but the second-try disbursement has not started yet. Is this bad news?
3. Does such new "AVS requirement" (which I believe started around this summer) also applies to US account?

Any help is much appreciated. I have been doing stealth Amazon for a few years but stopped since late 2014. Now I'm coming back and learning all the new tricks to beat the game!:uk:

Once the card is good , it will allow you to navigate to other sections .
It applies for UK ,USA and CANADA . since i have tried in all market places.
Few sellers around here sell those cards . USA is 25$ and UK is 30 pounds which is around 50$ . The accept btc and gift cards as payment . Please dont use cheap vcc to verify for time being since it suspended few of my accounts . Good luck

Thank you for your quick reply! A quick follow-up:
In other words, if the card is bad (i.e. VCC, prepaid card), the verification screen will reject it upfront, and you are still stuck with the screen?

I just did a bit of exploration with a toy account on my own. I updated charge method to a made-up credit card (i.e. no way it can pass AVS), the system accepted the update without saying anything.

Is that a valid-for-a-long-time card? I asked because I need cards to pass weekly disbursement AVS, not one-time use.

Do you have a similar solution for Amazon Canada?

Another related question: Did you try the "use real card and match numbers only" trick? Does it work cross-border? Like, tweak a US credit card to pass Amazon UK/Canada AVS check?

No i havent tried it and I dont have a solution for canada. i will let you know if i get one soon :spy:

Given your personal credit card A, you can provide a made-up card B to Amazon, and Amazon will take B as valid as long as B's card info matches A's card info in all numbers (card number, expiration date, zip code, and street number). This is called AVS check, a technique used for Amazon card verification. You see, there is a loophole...

I don't know how this 'loophole' even works in the UK as house number and post code is all that is required to single out your real address.

rfloubo, in the USA there can be a single zip/post code for a entire town. For instance Malibu CA90265, one zip for the whole town

Coming back to report on progress since the initial post.

"Disburse Now" button on payment page, 24 hours after I updated credit card info. I clicked it again, this time, the credit card AVS check went through (in other words, the match-numbers-only trick works!), but still payment was held at the last moment. They suddenly decided that all the money will be withheld until a 14-day review completes.

So for the moment, I still receive no money. But at least, I know how to solve the disbursement AVS issue now.

If I'll wait for 2 more weeks and assume no transaction-related problems, the money will be disbursed. No more ifs and buts, right?

God dammit, you US folk! You have it so easy! Need a vcc? Heaps and heaps to choose from, can buy anywhere, cheap price. In the UK? You might get the grand total of 1, if you're lucky. Prepare your wallet too. Use credit card for stealth in the US? Sure, why not. Use credit card for stealth in the UK? Change of address goes straight to credit report and bang: black-marked. And then there's limits here, papers there, fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

Use a UK debit card, said it many times. Inform your bank you need a second address for the card for online orders as you are not at home when deliveries are made.

A friend of mind told me he has his own persknal debit card on but all stealth details and he goes it works for him.

Many UK bank won't let you add second address, I tried.
I have to change my address completely.

Micky, I do appreciate the tip but I would wager that you don't speak from experience. The phone company is now a bit richer, I am a bit poorer, and still at square 1.

or you could do something better and find reloadable VCC's that stay active for the 3 years and you can continue to top them up, doesn't that sound a lot better? I think so. Problem is so many people are so bone idle to do their own homework.

Ok. It seems I would lose my wager. Apologies.
If that is so, I wonder what special banks do you bank with or what kind of seduction techniques you used because after some minutes of insistence all the main banks gave me quite consistently the same answer: 'It is not possible to add an address to the card. You can only change your account address.'
