Report of deletion
 

A brief report of a deletion. I got one amazon account deleted because I refunded a buyer while my account had zero balance. The amount was $200. I got a similar experience last year that I had $12 owing, but it didn't impact my account. So I believe they will delete your account beyong a certain amount of owing. And anyone got good suggestions how to keep a certain balance to avoid this kind of risk of deletion?

Just wonder why you refund buyer $200 when your account has zero balance? What is the point of doing that?

Havent had this happen...positive that you didnt get linked? Or invalid cc for test charge?

Amazon more than likely thought they were being conned out of $200. Beggars belief that amazon deleted one of your accounts for the same reason last year and you do the same again.

I also owed amazon a few times, and they never deleted.
Can happen on slow selling accounts which has just got the funds transfer.

This was not owing amazon seller fees, this was a refund which more than likely was to him or a friend. Amazon have lots of info and won't delete an account that owes just seller fees. Amazon more than likely suspected fraud.

Not talking about seller fees of course.
I had an account which i list only $400-$500 Items , I just got the fund transfer from amazon , and then a return has arrived and i had to refund buyer.
So the balance was almost $500 owed to amazon , for a week or so until new orders came in a and confirmed.
I guess it should not be a problem if you have a valid credit card on file.

I didn't get linked. On the same IP I have got US and UK account. The UK account was deleted and the US account is still working. My question is how to deal with the refund with zero balance. The registered credit card was only valid for registration.
