yankee | 12-15-2015 09:27 PM | 1 hour account deletion Hello fellow Ghosters,
I have never had an account deleted up until what may be now...not sure.
Opened account, new IP, new device, etc....
Listed two items.
One hour later, says email/password problem. several attempts to log in. Wont let me reset password.
Not sure if I was deleted or if I got locked out. I guess I will know for sure tomorrow. Very annoying to say the least. |
Re: 1 hour account deletion Quite a few questions yankee.
Firstly, the CC or VCC used was still testworthy?
Secondly, the products listed - could the categories have been high risk or become high risk with an influx of sellers? I do know that when a listing becomes hot (for whatever reasons), Amazon has done a series of bans on new sellers with low prices... |
yankee | 12-15-2015 10:13 PM | Re: 1 hour account deletion 100% not linked. Simple impossible on this account.
I had one failed VCC and then added a proven VCC.
Could be the items. Very hot market now and $150.00 units.
Listed first item $10.00 lower than other sellers but prices are very high compared to a month ago BY 30%
Very odd to me, but I have never attempted to open an account in December before. |
Re: 1 hour account deletion I think you nailed it right there then yankee.
VCC aside (which you said you had solved)....VERY hot market now means a lot of sellers....your first item listed was LOWER than other sellers and you opened it in December. I can see from Amazon's eyes how you might have been targeted :( |
jakobrockz | 12-15-2015 11:01 PM | Re: 1 hour account deletion I don't understand how Amazon does this to regular people though...
If I didn't know anything about how Amazon works and I opened an account to make some christmas money and amazon deleted my account I wouldn't have a good view towards amazon anymore |

I don't rely heavily on Amazon for sales (it is a good platform) but I just don't like their harsh decisions sometimes. |

Have you try different browser? | Good question. I was using safari and will play with it further tomorrow. I did check and my two items are not visible, so I am guessing deleted account. |
Taking The Micky | 12-15-2015 11:59 PM | Re: 1 hour account deletion As Tony said it may be the browser, this has happened to me in the past. Try "opera"
To me, deleting you in an hour looks more like a linking issue, usually if they don't like stock they will suspend you and ask for invoices etc. Did you add a bank account? |

I never do until required. Now, what was odd about this account, never asked to verify email or for tax info. Straight to selling after confirming phone call.
Definitely not linked. Brand new Ipad with its own hotspot, Clean IP and good info. Nothing possible to link to any accounts I have. |

I would send an e mail to seller performance from you new account's e mail address asking why you cannot log in. I could have been a blip in sign up. |

amazon cares only for amazon.
Have an account not fit the mold.....

BigCJ | 12-16-2015 02:45 AM | Re: 1 hour account deletion Im finding that amazon keeps enough sellers on hand to create in house competition.
