Multiple Amazon Accounts
 

Hi I have a opened up 2 Amazon accounts all with different details.

However the IP that I use for log in and that I opened the accounts with are the same for both accounts.


Can Amazon link the accounts? Can I run these two accounts in a long run?

Obviously when one gets down then they both go down. But other than that, should I be fine?

For every separate amazon account you make you need to be using a unique IP address for it. You can't use one IP for two accounts, this will cause the accounts to get linked.

1 time is unlikely to cause an issue OP - never can be 100% but risk is low if you make sure not to repeat overlapping IP

The accounts are linked now.
You need a new IP per new amazon account.

Amazon look for similarities. You gave them that.

Would you still recommend using them both at the same time? Of course now I would use different IP's.

If they are both still active, access one now with a different IP so both have different IP's and you may be OK
